"His mouth still felt numb, but that was okay. He didn’t need it to escape. He raised a hand to give the doctor a peace sign, only to freeze still when a metallic limb swung into his field of vision. Sonic jolted, mind focusing in on the perceived threat, confused when it stopped moving as he did. Slowly, carefully he flexed his fingers, horror creeping through his non-existent veins as he watched the movement mirrored by the claws.
He… knew that hand. The numbers in his mind came faster, blaring some sort of warning as the strange feeling of panic without a heartbeat became known to him as he looked down, taking in the sight of familiar blue paint. Not a quill or strand of fur in sight. He was… he was…"
After an experiment gone wrong, Sonic and Metal Sonic wake up to find themselves in the other's body. For one, it is a dream come true. For the other, their worst nightmare made horribly real. But as it turns out, things might not be quite as simple for the either of them.

After the events of the Metal Virus, it should’ve gotten better. And it does, briefly — with a party celebrating its extinction, they have their world back, their livelihood back, and more importantly, Sonic. But as Amy’s come to learn, it’s never as easy as it seems with him.
As the dust settles at Restoration HQ, the cracks begin to show. When she starts to pick up on the lasting effects of constantly burning off the virus, Amy offers to help care for Sonic’s quills and nurse them back to health. After all he’s done for them, it’s the least she can do. The role reversal is a change of pace, but one she takes to heart. And as they gather in her kitchen, as she tends to his sick quills, little does he know, it’s the most she’s ever felt in his shoes.

Summary
Ishval was terrible the first time. The smell of smoke and dust clung to everything, especially the white cloth draped over everyone’s shoulders, grimy with dirt and blood and no one could hide from the reminders of what they were doing. Restoring peace through genocide.
It was worse the second time.
Out here, there was never enough water, but in the medical tents, Alphonse was able to scrape together enough for a much-needed pot of coffee. The grounds were brought in from outside he explained, and he was trying to stretch it out with thinner, watered-down servings. Maes didn’t mind; the biting cold of desert night was falling and he needed what sleep his exhausted body could snatch.
Thanks to an egregiously imbalanced alchemy circle, Al lands back on the eve of the Ishval Order of Extermination. He’s less certain how or why Maes Hughes came along for the ride.

Known as the Mad Puppy of the Military, Edward Elric, the Fullmetal Alchemist, was not someone one would want to associate with. According to the general consensus, one word fit back to describe him best – "unhinged".
Favoured by the Führer himself, ignorant of others' opinions, accused of his brother's murder by none other than himself... truly a mad dog. But for whatever reason, a more childlish moniker stuck.
All in all, Roy was not looking forward to his newly assigned mission that involved none other than the notorious Fullmetal.

Summary
A human chimera created illegally by a deranged alchemist is more canine than human. She escapes confinement, and later finds herself becoming integrated with a pack of feral dogs as their leader. With her identity becoming increasingly difficult to maintain as she works to satisfy basic needs like thirst and hunger, she lives in the rubbish dump of East City, scavenging trash and killing small animals to survive, working with her canine 'family.'
Increasingly desperate, things begin change when she finds herself snatching a famous pair of gloves from the Flame Alchemist himself.

Summary
Amestrian Wolfhound, Kuvasz, and Aerugonian Wolfdog, three breeds known for hunting predators such as bears and wolves, and for herding sheep without the intervention of an owner. An alchemist abducts an adolescent girl from an orphanage and forces her into a transmutation circle with these canines, a brown bear, and a spiny mouse. The resulting human chimera, resembling an abnormally large dog, possesses the strengths of all species, and is one of the most complex chimeras created, although it is unable to assume a human form.
Before the chimera can be used for the government as intended, she escapes and flees into the countryside.
Her fugitive journey brings her to a small town in the East of Amestris, where she finds herself guarding sheep at a distance as a cover, before encountering a pair of younger children in a cemetery.

“What you're doing is murder,” Roy snapped. “And the only reason that I haven't already pulled this trigger is because I don't kill lightly. Unlike you.”
Scar stopped. When he spoke again, his voice sent chills down Roy's spine. “Oh? You mean to tell me that you aren't a murderer yourself? Hero of Ishval?”
Or the one where Roy is the one to cross paths with a vengeful Scar, instead of Edward. And Roy's limbs aren't made of metal.
