A few years later, Hannibal escapes from prison. Despite the risk, the first thing he does is go after his Mongoose. Summary
Soulmate AU: Soulmates find their other half when they look into their eyes. After the next time they sleep, they wake with one eye the color of their intended.
Will Graham avoids eyes. He's never wanted a soulmate, never wanted to be told by the universe who he was supposed to feel a connection to. He already struggles enough with connections, thank you very much. As a psychiatrist, he works with soulmates who have lost their other half through various means, part of a social system that regards the journey to your soulmate as the most important thing a person can do. Coerced by Jack Crawford to consult on a case where the assailant is targeting soulmates, Will finds himself turning to the notorious Dr. Lecter to gain insight on how he's choosing the soulmates to target.
Things go horribly awry when he looks into Hannibal's eyes, though. The next morning, he wakes up with one eye blue, the other maroon. He's never wanted a soulmate, least of all one behind bars for murdering dozens of people and eating them. Hannibal thinks it's delightful -it's been dreadfully boring since he was locked up.

After Merlin was kidnapped when a fight with an evil sorcerer went wrong, the knights had to find a way to recover him before too late, with King Arthur’s confidence to guide them. Arthur himself didn’t feel so confident, however, as he was hiding a secret that could get him thrown into a madhouse: Merlin was still there with them, but Arthur was the only one that could see or hear him.
“Arthur was silent for a moment as the sorcerer’s words from the fight in the forest rang through his mind. ‘I don’t need magic to hurt you. It isn’t about the tool, it’s about the person. The only way magic will be free in Camelot again is if the King knows his friends.’”

The grim expression on Merlin’s face as he stalked into the infirmary did not particularly shout ‘success.’ Neither did the way he flung his pack and jacket in the general direction of his bed without bothering to actually enter his bedroom, then spun on his heel and went straight to the storage shelves, glowering at the jars and bottles as if daring one or more of them to make a hostile move. They didn’t, and he cursed, not quite under his breath.The old man flinched. “Merlin…” he started. “What happened?”
“Oh, you know,” said Merlin over his shoulder, with a sarcastic flip of a hand. “Same old, same old. Woke up, had breakfast, summoned a goddess; nothing worth mentioning.”

If he can get into one of the storage rooms where cleaning supplies are held, he can find bleach, disinfectants and other corrosive stuff to mix together and create an acid so strong it’ll melt his skin, and, consequently, his tattoo, off. But then his quick pace turns down to a cautious tiptoe.
They will check and they will see the chemical burn in the exact place the suspect’s tattoo was supposed to be. How is he going to explain having that kind of wound on his arm? Not only will he be hurting like hell, he will be questioned why he never asked for help. Screw that question, what’s he going to answer when asked why he decided to mix bleach with a pipe cleaner and then very conveniently pour it on his wrist?
No. That will not work.
He needs another way. A way that can be explained away as…
