He feels like his whole life has happened in these four walls, like nothing existed before this pain and nothing will exist after it.
It's a living thing under his skin, writhing, devouring everything. He can't remember the smell of his mom's perfume or the taste of Dick's favorite ice cream or Bruce's hugs or the feeling of flying over Gotham. Like all the good he fought so hard for is lost to this darkness.
Every possible comfort ripped away by the pain and fear burning through his collapsing chest with each rattling breath.
He's going to die here.
He wishes it would happen a little faster.

Summary
He would stay if Jason asked but he doesn't want to. He can't handle forcing anyone else to stay and mistaking it as care, he's learned that lesson. Roy is his partner and one of the only people Jason has left and he's not going to ruin it over some fucking friends with benefits bullshit because he gets weepy and depressed after sex. He's fine- he'll be fine.
If Roy doesn't want to stay Jason's not going to make him.
If he's not good enough-
But he wishes he was.
Maybe if he'd been better Roy would actually want him.

Summary
"Wally's a hypocrite" Jason finally scoffs, bunching his uninjured leg closer to his chest while he lets the one closest to Roy extend to match his posture but his face goes all tight at the movement, jaw clenched.
"I really can't agree or disagree with that without some context Jaybird" Jason glares but only for a second before his eyes go all glassy and he's rubbing the cuff of his worn red hoodie sleeves over his face. "They wanted me to stop binding" he finally murmurs "Mostly Dick but Wally just went along with it- I thought he'd be on my side." Roy's heart feels like someone grabbed it and squeezed.
Fuck this is-
It's delicate, Roy is probably the last person to be talking to Jason about anything related to being trans but he is and he really doesn't want to mess it up.
OR
Jason can't bind due to chronic pain and Roy has an idea of something else he can do to feel more in control of his body.

Bruce's contingency plans in the event of getting dosed with fear toxin were always crystal fucking clear, every detail built around the obvious fact that his parent's deaths would inevitably be what he relived.
Jason's eyes burn horribly behind the lenses of his helmet.
Surely finding out Jason was alive can't be worse than-
Does Bruce really hate him that much?
OR
Bruce gets dosed with fear toxin and relives the worst moment of his life, Jason makes a very inaccurate guess as to what that is, they both suffer, and with the help of some meddling Robins finally talk.

Dick stares at him, his mouth is open and Wally looks similarly shocked where his freckled hand rests on Dick's shoulder.
Tim feels his eyes brimming with stubborn tears "Please don't tell me you're not I- I know it, because you can do a quadruple summersault."

Tim Drake shows up to Dick Grayson's apartment rambling about Batman, Robin, secret identities, and Jason Todd's death. No one is quite sure how to handle it.

Summary
