Avid paused, looking back at Drift. “Vampires?” He echoed, voice thin. The wood was clearly to defend against creatures that would throw themselves against windows, to block out the awful noises. “Who would care about vampires?”
Vampires, what was that about again? Avid cast his mind back, mind feeling a million miles away.
Her weak smile faded away. Replaced with concern. “But you talked about them all the time. That we should be protecting ourselves from them.”
Legundo turns his head back, voice grave. Both gaze at Drift, eyes in shadows. “There are far worse things in the dark to be afraid of.”
Three days. That’s how long they were missing. Twelve weeks. That’s how long they were in the fungal apocalypse.

Summary
At some point after Gem joined the group, on the way home from an investigation, she marched up to Skizz and demanded to talk to him. In private. There hadn’t been very many people around, so Skizz had known instantly that she wanted their conversation to be kept away from Scar, Grian, and Impulse.
Skizz agreed to talk to her, with the caveat that they would pick a separate time to do so. Disappearing for even a few minutes and leaving the other three alone together, outside of a controlled setting like Scott’s office, wouldn’t end well. Not yet. At best, it would be a temporary setback from the healing they’re trying to move towards. At worst, it would be catastrophic.
Or, Scar and Grian finally meet the other therapist at Hermitcraft.

Ever since Legundo was young, he saw ghosts. He never said anything, but does what he can to help them move on. He liked to think he was good at it too. Then war came knocking on his doorstep, afterwards, he was never the same. Now, he is in Oakhurst, determined to help the people he's found himself in the company of. One of those being Owen-the lumberjack that has taken to staying far away everyone. Save for a haunting specter that has attached itself to the man.
Can Legundo help both ghost and man move forward? Or has he finally gotten in over his head?

Hermitcraft was a safe haven away from the hybrid hunters. Gem’s herd was also supposed to be a safe haven. They were tucked away, and had lived peacefully since years before Gem was born. They lived detached from the rest of the worlds, and Gem knew little of anything outside of the meadow.
Gem would be a perfect fit for hermitcraft, with her eye for design. If only she knew it existed and there could be hope for people like her.OR

"Good, you're all here," a voice said. Jimmy recognized it immediately. It was the one that gave Impulse background information on their investigations. "I apologize for contacting you all with such short notice, but the situation is incredibly urgent and we cannot delay any longer. You've all been selected for this mission for your connections, knowledge and skills. We've lost contact with one of our teams, and their disappearance is highly unusual and we suspect something… otherworldly to be involved. We need you to follow their trail and look into the disappearances of Grian Xelqua, Impulse Essvee, Scar Goodtimes, Gem Tay, and Skizz Lehmann, otherwise known as the GIGGS team."
OR: The GIGGS team vanishes during an investigation under mysterious and disturbing circumstances. Jimmy Solidarity is brought onto a team to rescue them. They have two things to assist them: the final radio conversations, and a trail of cassette tapes left by Impulse, which document the experiences of the GIGGS team on their dark, horrifying journey as they try to survive and find help.

“Okay, guys! No more being grumpy,” Shelby exclaimed. “It’s beach time!”
The two oldest vampires leveled her with an unimpressed look.
“Shelby, this is a lake.”

Summary
If you’ve ever been alone for vast amounts of time, you’ll know that silence is a loner's closest companion, and worst enemy. It may be sought after in large crowds, but is utterly despised in solitude. It’s the absence of joy. It has, and will be the downfall of many to come.
Tango is the only netherborn to ever have left the nether. In the overworld, hybrids live in fear of being discovered, but Tango is no stranger to rejection. This time he deals with his problems, by hiding from them. Building his own little world, tucked within a thick dark oak forest, he isolates himself for nine whole years, with no intention of leaving. That is until two strangers find themselves lost in the maze of a forest, and right at his doorstep.
Outside of this forest, hybrids are beginning to realize they are being hunted by their own kind. Dozens of affiliated groups of vex hybrids scour cities for every last hybrid they can find, dragging them away to some unknown location. As they get stuck in the mystery of this betrayal, they must band together, or be destroyed.
