He also happened to remember the section they did on drugs. A representative from the D.A.R.E. program came and talked and passed out cool t-shirts. Berdly still owned that shirt! And, along with it, he recalled the presentation given on drugs:
More specifically, the section dedicated to marijuana.
“K-Kris, is that…” Little green nugs of pure hallucinogenic power were sitting on that tray. The smell was overpowering, short circuiting Berdly’s brain. Kris just smiled, the little scamp that they were, and nodded.
“Yeah, man. It’s weed.” They said simply.
Kris and Berdly spend the night hanging out. What could possibly go wrong?

“Stay,” Felix managed to get out, his voice cracking and thick. He hated it, hated how pathetic he sounded, but the thought of being left alone made his breath hitch all over again. “Stay here. Please.”
Teddy’s eyes widened, then softened visibly. “Okay,” he whispered, gently wrapping Felix in a hug. Carefully manoeuvring the blankets, Ted found a way for them to share the space, swaddling Felix in baby blue sheets. The shade was calming, in its own way. Not quite hot, not quite cold. Despite the sweat clinging to his skin, Felix burrowed his face into the covers.
Ted stayed beside him, a warm, solid weight. Unthinkingly, Felix took his brother’s hand in his own, fingers interlocking securely. Ted held on right back. “I’m here,” Teddy murmured, resting his head on the pillow. “You’re okay. I promise.”
OR: 5 times Ted comforted Felix, and 1 time Felix comforted Ted.
