Jason sweeps the toddler up into his arms, his expression amused as the boy squeals gleefully and squirms in his hands. “Little trouble maker,” he murmurs, voice raspy from disuse, but he is getting better with his words each day.
Damian’s tiny, chubby hands plant firmly on Jason’s cheeks, eyes bright as he stares up at the boy like he hung the stars. “‘Akh!” he claims loudly.
Jason’s whole face melts into something unbearably fond. He kisses Damian’s cheek just to hear the boy laugh again, taking pride that he was able to produce a sound so pure. “Yes. It’s ‘akh.”
Or, Damian doesn't remember much about when Jason Todd was in the League of Assassins with him. Jason does, and he remembers it fondly

Summary
On a small planet, far away from Earth, Young Justice is revered as deities. They saved them from a tyrant, one they cannot name due to the sheer number of tyrants they’ve felled, but a tyrant nonetheless. Whispers of their bravery became excited stories, which became riotous festivals. On a small planet very few can name, the names of their saviors are the names of their Gods.
If it were just them, it would be fine. But it's not. The orphans in crime alley see Red Robin and clasp their grubby hands in prayer. The old women who Superboy helps across the street give him trinkets – offerings – in thanks. Themyscira watches as Wondergirl’s stories are shared around their hearths. Impulse burns through time and is ignorant of how it is reborn in his light.
Their ascension starts slowly like it was dipped in sap and coated with syrup. Wounds heal faster and their reflexes are quicker, but no one notices. Not until Red Robin dies on a cold Gotham night and wakes up.

Young justice ascends to godhood, shenanigans ensue.

The one where Tim and Kon GRIND MY FUCKING GEARS. And on each other. Too many times to pretend its accidental.
They're weird and horny and avoidant and beating a dead horse around the bush. I have genuinely never enjoyed a text-layout more in my life. They want each other so bad and also they should punch each other they both fucking deserve it. And then they can make out. And have a deep and meaningful conversation about it instead of being weird and avoiding it and then deepthroating electronic devices about it. Just fucking maybe, like.
Really sweet double plot throughout with Damian and Jon. There's a million thoughts i have on how i want to overanalyse this entire story from front to back but it is 1am and I just binge-read the entire thing in one sitting actually.

Tim/Kon slowburn, or as I like to call it: 'Kon has totally just platonic feelings for his best friend Tim Drake and has 3 years of uber mega crazy space sex about it'. Objectively funny love square but only due to sheer circumstance. Author clocked all of those gay boys SO hard. Feels very in character, both internal and spoken dialogue. Honestly how all of the characters interact with one another feels so natural that I didn't even question it. 10/10 obsessed will be reading again
