Summary
Most crime fighters are heroes, superpowered people who were trained at a young age to beat the bad guys and serve the everyman, born and raised to protect and save the lives of those who couldn't defend themselves. Pretty much every kid wanted to grow up to be a hero, obviously. Fame, fortune, fighting, it was every tiny child's dream, but only a select few were allowed to become heroes, especially not powerless ones.
And that was just Tommy's issue, he was powerless.
It seemed that everyone around him had some sort of quirk or superpower that made them stronger, that gave them incredible abilities like no other, but Tommy, arguably the kid who wanted to be a hero the most, was left untouched by luck.
But that didn't mean he couldn't help out. Far from it, in fact.
Or...
Tommy is a vigilante, kicking ass and fighting crime, but catches the attention of a few familiar faces.

Summary
The Alchemist is a slippery vigilante, constantly evading top heroes while crime-fighting in the most gleefully chaotic fashion. Technoblade—as the blood-manipulating and sword-wielding hero Ichor—stumbles upon him when a run-in with his fellow heroes leaves the Alchemist gravely injured.
What the vigilante doesn't know is that Technoblade is also Asclepius, the heroes' finest healer. Plus, it's the holiday season, and Technoblade's in a giving mood.
Or: Techno heals Tommy and lets him go. Tommy thanks him in his own way, and a tentative friendship is born. Chat yells "IT'S FREE BROTHER" the entire time.

Summary
Tommy approaches the king directly, standing right in front of him. Up close, from here, Tommy feels impossibly small. He has to tilt his head back to look up at this man, and the king stares down at him with a ghost of a smile, like he’s amused at the fact that they’re so far in terms of height.
His young hands lift up a wooden box. The king stares at it with disinterest, but he takes it when Tommy shoves it forward, almost hitting it into his armor.
Holding it in the palm of one hand, the king undoes the latch and lifts the lid. He pauses.
Inside that box, sits a woven crown made of fresh yellow flowers.
(Or, Technoblade is taking over the world, conquering kingdoms one by one, and Tommy is a young, newly crowned king who's waiting for him to arrive, with a gift of appeasement in hand.)

Tommy couldn’t breathe, his eyes staring straight ahead of him as he took in every detail of the man’s face. His heart was loud in his ears, pounding in his head as he took a shaky step back. Over the sound of his own heart, he heard a familiar voice breaking the outside silence.
“Wil, everything okay?”
Then, a flash of pink moved around the right side of his vision, and when he looked over, he was met with the face of his other dead brother. Theo, with long pink hair pulled back in a long plait was standing next to ‘William’.
What the actual fuck.
Okay, he was definitely dreaming now. There was absolutely no way both of his brothers had just, come back from the dead and walked into his workplace. He took a shaky breath, his eyes darting between his broth – the two strangers standing in front of him.

Summary
If Tommy’s honest, though, neither the sea nor Dream can bring him peace. It makes him guilty sometimes, especially with the way Dream tries to see him each and every day, but nothing is peace like walls and vans and a side he could always stand by. L’manburg kept him loved and cared for and safe. Tommy misses the days he wasn’t kept just to be fucking kept.

“Do it.” He said. “Prove me right.”
Techno took a breath and for a moment Tommy thought he was going to actually pull the trigger. He flinched as he heard the click of the trigger, and then the explosion of the firework. But he was fine. He opened his eyes and saw Technoblade reload his crossbow before putting it away. He pulled out his trident and looked up, holding his free hand out as the first raindrops fell.
“We part as we did the first time. I’ll miss you Theseus.” Techno said softly, pulling his arm back before launching into the air with his trident. Though Tommy swore he heard something he couldn’t decipher it over the loud roar of the withers, the pattering of rain, and the ever insistent booming of the explosives digging ever deeper. Tommy stood, rain soaking his hair and washing his face of the soot and ash of the country he once built with his brother.

It's only when he accidentally gets Tubbo to worship him, that things begin to change. This is a story of healing.

In the forest, he didn't know what was coming to kill him. Now, though, he knew it would be this man, with his soft cloak and softer eyes, Tommy wasn’t so afraid.
