Whatever bakery Tony went to was probably designer. But they had to have messed up with the cake somewhere, because as soon as Peter swallowed the cake, fire seared the back of his throat, like he’d swallowed acid. His vision blurred and he started coughing. A lot.
“It can’t be that bad, can it?” Tony asked, but his voice sounded like it was coming through a tunnel.
Peter’s legs shook and he stumbled, gripping the edge of the table to keep himself upright.
“Tony---” he gasped out, coughing again and watching as red specks of blood marred the inside of his elbow.
Something was wrong.

Eddie froze. “Don’t—”
But Phillip was already crouching, grabbing Buck by the arm and hauling him upright. Buck’s legs buckled instantly, his body sagging like a marionette with cut strings.
“Stand up,” Phillip snapped. “Stop being such a damn liability.”
Buck whimpered, a broken sound, and then his knees gave out completely. Phillip let go.

What is supposed to be nice day turns into chaos when Buck has an epileptic seizure at Bobby’s place. Not everyone is as supporting as his boyfriend Eddie.

However, what Thomas doesn’t know is that Newt survived, and manages to get the serum in time. He, Mihno, Brenda, and the others fight to get him back, and save him from a life as a human blood bank. (Along the way however, they run into other familiar faces)
While the others fight to save Thomas, he spirals in and out of the waking world as Teresa battles with her conscience.AKA: AU where far too many people survive when they originally died, and Thomas is taken as a source for the cure. “Buck!” Cold dread spills into the sockets of all of Bobby’s joints. “What are you doing!”
Buck fumbles to release the lock, but he gets it on the second try.
“Put your helmet back on! Kid!”
