Jaskier adjusted his trousers, rebuttoned up his shirt. But when he tried to walk away, Geralt grabbed his arm.
“Jaskier, you can’t just leave. It’s nightfall - the nearest town is days away. It’s too dangerous.”
“It was a metaphor, Geralt,” Jaskier snapped back, “but now that you’ve mentioned it, I think I will leave. It’s not like you actually give a shit.”
“If I didn’t care, I would never have let you follow me in the first place.”
Jaskier scoffed, pulling his arm out of his grip. “If you really care, then prove it. Come down the mountain with me, right now. I’m not fucking staying here a minute longer.”
“You’re being ridiculous, I can’t just abandon the group- “
“You mean abandon Yennefer.”
Geralt shook his head, “Jaskier, you’re acting childish!”
“Okay,” Jaskier nodded his head once, “I guess that’s my answer.”

Summary
Geralt and Ciri are foraging for herbs in the forest that surrounds Kaer Morhen. The two are looking for catmint, however, Ciri finds a very similar herb instead.
Geralt tells her that although it's not catmint, there are some 'unconventional' uses for it that Vesemir doesn't approve of, and that Lambert would love it if she snuck it into the keep into his alchemy workbench.
The next day, she can't find the rest of the Witchers, and when she does she finds out what the 'unconventional' use of catnip is.

“Please don’t do this, Yennefer.” She leans back.
“Do what?”
Jaskier swallows hard, bringing one knee up and pressing his forehead to it, his arms wrapped loosely around his leg. His voice, when he finally speaks, is soft, pain clear in his tone.
“Don’t give me hope.” He tells her, swallowing hard after he says it. “I can’t do it again.” He turns his head to look at her from beneath his fringe. “I spent decades hoping, Yennefer. And it got me fuck all besides the dressing down of my life on top of that fucking mountain and a fun little session of torture later.”
(Jaskier hoped that he could have more with Geralt once, and all it had gotten him was abandoned on a mountain. He won’t make the same mistake twice.)

Summary
Geralt and Ciri are on the run from Nilfgaard. After a narrow escape from certain death, they seek refuge in a Lettenhove court. Geralt is shocked to find that the viscount, (and secret leader in the resistance) is none other than the man he scorned on the mountain. But Jaskier is acting as though he’s never met him before in his life.
Is this is the chance Geralt needs to set things right?

He took Jaskier’s hand. There were still small lute calluses on the tips of his fingers. He clung to that. No matter what anyone said, his bard’s fingers were in his hand after all this time. It made him want to sob. To lay his head on Jaskier’s lap. To tell him he was finally ready to be honest.
But this was not a man ready to receive his feelings or comfort him.
There was nothing soft about Jaskier now.
His eyes now looked like gates snapped shut. He waited for Geralt in brittle silence. The two mages held their breath. Ciri fidgeted with her dirty trousers.
“Geralt." Ciri took his arm and squeezed it. “Geralt are you sure? We can leave. We don’t have to do this.”
Geralt locked eyes with Jaskier.
“No Ciri. I trust his lordship with my life and yours.”

Summary
The wolf school is the last school of witchers to create a formal bond with a region of the world, not particularly caring to play those games, but they also needed to survive. Vesemir arranges a mating contract between Geralt and Julian Pankratz of Lettenhove.
Geralt knows that as the alpha of their pack he has to do this, but he is terrified of the marriage, worried about the omega who is going to be saddled with the butcher, the monster the continent fears.
He dreads the wedding, and all his fears feel like they are coming true when he meets this Julian who is completely detached and cold. But not all is as it seems and when they arrive home at Kaer Morhen for winter, everything changes.
And sometimes when we face our worst fears, we get instead our sweetest dreams.

Jaskier saves the Warlord's daughter. Despite his family ties, he's allowed to stay in Kaer Morhen while he recovers from his injuries. Eventually, it becomes home.

Geralt couldn’t continue his words, his eyes opened wide in the face of the image he saw. It was like when Jaskier left him on the mountain, his cheeks were as plump as a child's, his lips paler than he remembered, but still a little pink, but his eyes... His eyes were different. His blue eyes, resembling a cloudless sky, were covered in fog. His eyes were like mirrors forgotten to shine, dull, grey, and lifeless, and even though they were nose to nose, his eyes were facing in a different direction.
"Jaskier...’’
A bitter smile appeared on Jaskier's face.
"You see right. I'm blind, Geralt.’’

Geralt and Ciri run into Jaskier at an inn on their way to Kaer Morhen for the winter. Somehow, Ciri convinces an angry Jaskier to come with them and act as her tutor for the winter. Unfortunately, Geralt's emotionally stunted behavior in the past burned whatever bridge there was between himself and the bard and he wants to fix it, despite Jaskier's dedication to being upset.
When Ciri discovers a ballad Jaskier wrote about ~that time~ on the mountain, she makes her feelings about Geralt's behavior clear to everyone at the keep and then resolves to get Jaskier to forgive her emotionally-stunted father figure.
