Summary
The Prince, despite his best efforts, could not stop his hand from shaking as he held his sword to Merlin’s- no, not Merlin’s- pulse. The boy tried to crawl backwards a bit, away from the sharp edge, but Arthur just moved forward with him. The sword trembled with adrenaline against the sorcerer’s pale skin.
Arthur couldn’t help but notice the boy’s ruddy cheeks, bright red from the cold and exertion. The snow made light dance in his tear tracks. The neckerchief that Merlin commonly wore was discarded on the snow; It must have fallen during the fight. It left his smooth neck exposed to the cold, riddled with goosebumps, and unmarred save for the blood-soaked steel, pressing in on his pulse point. Arthur could not deny that the… thing wearing Merlin’s face was beautiful.
Merlin is forced to reveal his powers during an attack. Chaos and angst ensue. I feel like most people give Arthur too much credit in magic reveals.

Summary
The knights convince (more like trick) Arthur to retire the ban on an ancient festivity: Fools' Day. During this day, the roles of servants and masters are reversed, which implies that Merlin is going to be king for a day and Arthur is going to be his… servant.
Arthur dreads the day, and when it finally comes, he waits anxiously for all the horrible things Merlin will do to him as a revenge for all the shit Arthur makes him go through. But, of course, he wasn’t counting on the fact that Merlin is, apart from a little shit, a precious cinnamon roll.
A bit of humour (so sorry about that one, I’m hopeless) and lots of fluff.

Ignoring Kilgharrah’s protests about the impossibility of what he aimed to do, Merlin let all his power loose, becoming one with the fabric of the world and the magic he was born of. After following the bond he shared with Arthur through the winding paths of time, he finally emerged a decade into the past, having successfully seized a second chance to get this whole destiny thing right. Unfortunately, he would have to win Arthur’s trust all over again, seeing as Merlin was alone in remembering anything of the future he was hoping to change. Or…was he?

Summary
As Court Sorcerer, Merlin has to go with Gwaine on a diplomatic mission that will see him spend three months meeting with druids and queens. Three long months away from Camelot. Three long months away from Arthur.
Fortunately, being a sorcerer has its perks. And thanks to a certain magical crystal, he and Arthur are able to stay in touch for those three months, managing to stay close despite being apart.
OR:
Merlin and Arthur miss each other for three months and decide they never want to be apart again.

“Gwaine has the concentration span of a newborn lamb.” Arthur declared, angry, and Merlin rolled his eyes.
Arthur has an unreadable expression as his eyes dart over to look at Gwaine, then back at Merlin.
He scoffed and grabbed his own sword before marching onto the field, Merlin watching as he dropped his hands off his waist, rolling his eyes exasperatedly at Arthur’s constant peacocking.
