"I dunno," James mumbles, looking away again. "It's a bit too big on me. And my wings look stupid with how dull they are. The boys in my class have cool colorful wings."
"I think your wings are nice," Poke interjects. "And I want to see it on you anyways," he adds, nudging James with his shoulder.

Summary
The night air is freezing, and an eerie silence hangs almost tauntingly as Quackity stands atop the balcony of the Las Nevadas needle, face to face with someone he holds very dear and who he knows is very upset with him.
He shivers a little, the frigid atmosphere offering little in the way of comfort as his thoughts race aimlessly. He draws his wings into himself, shielding him from the cold like a blanket.
The way Slime looks at him makes his heart physically ache. He wants nothing more than to go in and hug him close and cry that he's okay, he's alive, but he can't – he knows he's fucked up badly and he can't blame Slime for being cross with him. If the roles were reversed, he would be, too.

Summary
"It's getting cold out," Travis says, leaning against some crates stacked up in the corner of Sun Whale's warehouse.
It's an observation any of the three could have made, but he feels like he should say it anyways. Winter had snuck up quickly, leaving Sun Whale completely unprepared. Not that winter's an emergency by any means, but business slows down and equipment has to be brought in to avoid damage from frost. Just a hassle overall.

“What’s up?” Edd watches the poor thing curl in on himself, pulling his red comforter over his head. Not quite enough, though, Edd can see his signature updo sticking out from under the comforter.
“Go away.” He’s being unusually (though not uncharacteristically) cold, usually he reserves the nastier side of his mouth for Tom. Edd was under the impression that they were quite close.
Then he hears it: a sniffle.

Edd hadn’t written to him once. Tord told him not to, so he didn’t. But Tord really, extremely, horrifically missed Edd. He was on the verge of buying a plane ticket back to his home, all because of how much he longed for him. But Paul and Patryck anchored him to stay. Tord remembered crying in the bathroom almost every single night from how much he missed him and from how he couldn’t even do anything about it.
And there Tord was, on Edd’s doorstep. About to flip his world upside down. Again. But even worse this time.
Or, The End: Part One. Upon seeing Edd again, Tord isn’t sure about his plan anymore.

Eventually, he reaches the jungle across from his hobbit hole. As he approaches the river and unstable bridge he's built, he’s met with an unexpected guest.
Schlatt is sitting across the river, wringing out his jacket and looking absolutely soaked. Cooper turns to look at his unstable, and now that he's really looking at it, flipped bridge, and puts the pieces together.
“Did you fall in?” Cooper asks into the night air. It’s immediately disrupted by Schlatt shouting in surprise.
“What the fuck are you doing here?!”or, Schlatt is temporarily residing on Coopers SMP. They have a chat.
