Sobbing, crying. This is phenomenal. One of my favorite depictions of Voldemort, seeing him strictly from Harry's POV and then gaining introspection in the middle with his own POV after Harry's world is altered. It was such a groundbreaking choice. This Voldemort feels so layered and human, yet different...grounded yet untouchable. Harry and his relationship changing over time, Harry going through his internal strife and STRUGGLING so realistically, and everything that comes from it—all of it is done masterfully and beautifully.
Definitely one of my favorite Harrymort fics. The background Voldemort and Bellatrix had me wary at first, but the way they did it was so so so so so good. The way they have her impact him feels so...perfect and fitting. Goodness, this fic was so good I wish I could read it again for the first time; this will be one of those fics I tuck away in my heart to come back to years later.
