    -set after Birdhouse plot and Bagi's arrival, Canon Divergent AU-
    Today would've been like any other day, if the Morning Crew hadn't noticed Philza's lack of replies towards all greetings when the comms announced his presence. Or how he wasn't in the house or bunker atop the Wall.

    So off to find him they go! But once they do...
    ... the sight greeting them is of him all in white, the telltale sign of having taken the Federation's 'Happy Pills'. Only his behavior was nowhere alike that of the previous "patients".

    So it is up to them, soon joined by other people, to find out Phil's reasons for taking the medicine, and perhaps do more than just give him the antidote to fully heal him.
    However, nobody ever anticipated the *other* changes that are slowly occurring in Quesadilla, changes that not even the Federation could prevent...

    “Flippa.. Its okay it's just mĘ̵̽” Slime fell back down as another glitch jolted through his body.
    He hadn't expected his infection to worsen, not after spending so much time in purgatory without problems. But as soon as the boat was nearer to Quesadilla Island, he’d felt the uneasy static rising up his throat and the familiar, numb, cold feeling return to his fingers. He already felt the fatigue of the island, the aching loneliness.
    When Flippa was here, he was okay. When Flippa was here, he could ignore the static in his head, ignore how much he missed their cozy wall hole, ignore all the flaws in Flippas’ little shell.
    What he couldn't ignore, was his splitting head(ache) and the federation workers knocking at the door.

    Charlie stands to his full height, the pain lacing his body quickly forgotten at the mere implication of Juanaflippa in danger.
    “Did they see you?” He asks, his voice eerily low. She shakes her head.
    “We can’t stay here. They must be monitoring this whole site,” Charlie says as he steps to his tools chest and rummages through, retrieving the only diamond blade he owns, "Phil can help us. We became really close over the past 2 weeks, he was the leader of our team. They are like a second family and I know they’ll be there for us." Flippa’s eyes flash with an eager, artificial glimmer as she nods.
    “Stay behind me, okay?” Charlie instructs, watching his daughter nod in understanding and creep into his shadow, her eyes glowing an eerily bright green in the shade. His hand grips the wobbly knob of his door as he glances behind one last time, giving her a reassuring nod. She returns it with a smile.
    Charlie turns back around just as he opens the door and takes a step out—

    — and nearly walks right into Cucurucho.

    OR: Charlie returns to Eggxile immediately after Purgatory to find 'Flippa' and is ambushed and kidnapped by the Federation.

    Passing through the names of the candidates, Cucurucho was trying to find a way on how to take the candidate out of the election. Felps could easily be killed and taken into one of the cells of the federation, and same for Mike. BadBoyHalo was a bit tougher. He was a great fighter after all, but he could not stand against one or maybe two codes alone. Forever was playing it safe, so he was not leaving his secure home. Maybe they could find a way to lure him out and then attack him, it could work.

    Now there was only one candidate left, Étoiles. Now, Étoiles was a little bit of a special case. Having survived three attacks of the code in the same week: at the diner, in the desert with that one buffed mob and in the plaine with the two codes, The federation was never successful at killing him and it was now way beyond frustrating.

     

    Or- The federation needed to do something to stop Etoiles

    Charlie is silent as he soaks in her words. After a few minutes he replies slowly. “Flippa… you didn’t have to do that. You should worry about what you want, not what I need. That’s my job, worrying about you .” He tucks her in some more as she looks up at him with large, knowing eyes. “I’m going to do my best to take care of you. Annoying Mariana comes second. I swear it.” Flippa swats at him lightly which he laughs at.

    “But seriously. I will. I’ll… always be here for you.” She smiles at him as he stands and moves to blow out the torch next to her bed. “Goodnight, Juanaflippa.” Charlie says softly as he closes the door behind him and takes in a deep breath.
