Summary
"Azure Moon" is my adaptation of the main storyline from MTaS and was inspired by the beautiful story Pathea created. Focusing mainly on the evolution of my Builder ("you") and Logan's relationship, it will also provide additional context to the story as a whole through both canon and head canon events. Everything in this series will be heavily laced with canon concepts and dialogue, so be on the look out for those portions!

I often find myself craving more in games like this and as a result, my imagination tends to run wild. Wanting to have an outlet for my ideas, I decided to create "Azure Moon". I have been so happy to hear from the kind folks who have taken the time to read through them. I also thank those who encouraged me to do this and have shown an abundance of support. It truly means more than you know.

Willa had long accepted who she was. Her family loved her and so did her one brave friend. However, she also understood by how others outside her small circle treated her that she wasn’t to everyone’s taste. Especially the radically devote members of the Church of the Light faith. Even at Atara University, all her fellow builder classmates had let her know by their treatment of her that she’d be outcasted at any workshops she attempted to apply to. So, despite Willa’s peerless grades and awards for her many accomplishments thus far, her options were limited. Either be an independent workshop somewhere crazy, like The Peripheries, where a one woman large assemblies workshop like herself would be put to work in a harsh and thankless environment, or she could see if the folks in Sandrock, where guns weren’t prohibited and the Church of the Light branch there seemed looser in their standings, had thicker skin for a woman most folks described in the most unkind ways as a storybook dragon in need of slaying.
Never did she think her choice would change her life so vastly and so quickly.
Never did she think she’d have so many people who’d cherish her.
Never did she think love wasn’t truly out of her reach.

·标题来自2023年10月番《药屋少女的呢喃》ED2《愛は薬》。去沙石镇当了工坊主之后发现歌词和小房也真是很贴的，刚好小房和壬氏也都是气质偏中性的长发美人【嘶哈】。
·第二人称叙事且不指定工坊主性别的纯爱日常，欢迎各位医生家属自由带入。
·于微博和小红书首发于2024年3月末，本次搬运修正了一些时间上的谬误和名字的误记，因此写作“修正版”。
·每位工坊主推剧情的时间顺序各有差别（行文需要个别段落甚至都没严格按照触发顺序写），主线和支线交织的方式以笔者自己推剧情时的进度为准，并辅以一些受限于系统而无法在游戏中实现的互动演绎，所以千万不要说“啊这和我推剧情的顺序不一样”之类的话。
·以及前期有些剧情的细节已经记不得了又没空开档重来，毕竟主号游戏时间都163小时了所以如果有啥细节出入就请原谅我吧【捂脸】但涉及到游戏选项的段落确实是我在游戏当下做出的选择，反正一看就是个纯i战士才能干出来克制选项，什么叫“喜欢是放肆爱是克制”啊【战术后仰】。

Summary

It wasn't the result Logan wanted for her, but it's the sentence the Builder ended up getting after her old injury flared up and led him to make her problems his business. And with the worst storm Sandrock had seen this side of a decade looming on the horizon, it honestly couldn't have come at a worse time.
But when the enigmatic Builder begins refusing to hold up her end of the bargain and adhere to doctor's orders as promised, it sets into motion a swift series of events between the pair- ultimately resulting in the Hunter receiving answers to a multitude of questions he had both sought and avoided the answers to for over two months.
And as more of her background comes to light... Logan somehow ends up making some startling realizations about his own feelings in the process.

This is going to be a novelization of the game with 2 builders based on mine and my IRL husband's characters. Mostly because I have no life and you guys inspired me to hop back into writing fanfics after nearly 20 years. I will try to stay faithful to the material for the most part, with a few of my head canons sprinkled in. Comments and constructive criticism is very much welcome, as I'm using this as a jumping point to get back into my publishable novel. I hope you enjoy. I will post any major triggers that I can, other than game typical violence, in the notes before the chapter in BOLD letters. The worst of it is in Chapter 9, and can largely be skipped.

Luka wants to build a park in Sandrock and enrolls his friends' help.
Stev, now professor Luo's assistant, comes to Sandrock to help with the huge project.The story follows Stev and his developing relationships with the townsfolk, especially with a particular saloon owner.
Owen thought he was past the events of that evening during the Duvos attack but the memories resurface after coming face to face one more time with the soldier that took care of him that time. Could that same former soldier help him fully get rid of the nightmares?

This story is a direct sequel / spin off to [The Spy], which focused on Luka, the builder, and covered the main events of the game, with some extra bits. I recommend reading that one first to get familiar with the characters.
[A Rose By Any Other Name] takes place post end game.
~~~Some cannon divergence (i.e. Luka, the builder was a Duvos military technician and spy/double agent) but the main events of the game are covered.
No major trigger warnings. Unlike [The Spy], this story does not have as much violence and dark themes. There will be smut.

That very thing which many fear to utter aloud, from which they hide in the secluded corners of their consciousness, mistakenly taking it for an enemy.
The celebration of life turns to falsehood when no kindred spirit can be found to share a sincere conversation. When there is no one who does not strive to remold you in their own image, to force a false smile upon you, to instill the absurd obligation to be happy. At times, events occur that leave a deep wound, and this by no means signifies that we are obliged to forcefully return to the former course, pretending as if nothing has happened. Every emotion deserves the right to exist, not only carefree joy. Only by accepting one's pain can one truly become alive.
