    Why do the Hero's Spirit endure as it does?
    Who is Link, beneath his Hylian skin?

    Not many can remember why the Yiga was excommunicated and exiled from all of Hyrule, including their own clan, the Sheikah. Rumor that goes around was that the Royal Family of Hyrule was paranoid and feared the deadly potential of the Sheikah technology and thus banned it all, creating the Yiga Clan in the process. No one said otherwise and so it became the only truth. But is it really? If so, why did the Hero failed appearing in their hour of greatest need? Hyrule sought out the missing Hero and the equally missing Master Sword only to come up with nothing. All hope now lies on the shoulder of the still powerless Princess Zelda...until the Sheikah discovered the Shrine of Resurrection.

    Who sleeps within? Who was resurrected? Who comes out of the shrine? Is it really the Hero...or something worse than the Calamity?

    Yeah so remember when BotW's trailer first came out and everyone was like wow what if long hair Link = female????? Well didn't happen but it's okay cause BotW Link is adorable(so is everyone else omg). No salt here but this stemmed from the thought of what if there was a canon way of introducing a female character and it quickly spiraled out of control into an actual story. Anyways story rundown: Hyrule being rebuilt with everyones help, Zelda a queen gurl, Yiga clan still out and about, Link saves his sister who was a royal guard from the spring of courage(it's all in the story), Riju the chieftain now and much taller, monsters still around but things are much more peaceful. There's a feast coming up in celebration and security's gotta be tight and everything has to be perfect.

    Summary

    Across Time was originally called Across Time and Kingdoms, depicting the story of how The Hero of Time and the Hero of Twilight respectively found their way back to the women they loved. How one traveled across time itself and the other across two kingdoms, both in light and in the embers of twilight. But as Across Time became something larger and greater than expected, It became known just as Across Time with a planned sequel - Across Kingdoms.

    But now, more are planned and more are being created. There are now two alternate planned sequels to Across Time with the original spiritual sequel Across Kingdoms, a MidLink tale of Link finding his place beside Midna in the Twilight Realm. But now Across Kingdoms has a sister while still being a spiritual sequel to Across Time, Across Eras, which is a Modern AU Twilight Princess story featuring ZeLink and both of them finding love in each other.

    And it also has at least one spin off: Across Generations, which tells the story of The Hero of Time's children messing with time powers they don't understand and getting sent back to a time far before they are born and before their parents are even wed. Shenanigans ensue.

    “Can’t dance?” Din did not walk but rather twirled around the crowd to Legend’s side, grabbing his hand with her own, and even her eyes seemed to dance, with a mirth like they were sharing an inside joke Twilight couldn’t understand. “You know there’s no such thing. Speaking is a dance in itself, if you have the time to perfect it.”

    “Would it kill you to wait?” Legend asked wryly.

    “Absolutely!” Din replied, and then she pulled his arm and spun him into the fray of dancers, faster than Twilight could blink.

    In Holodrum, the Chain works together to solve the mystery of the missing portals. As expected, they run into about seven brands of trouble before it all goes downhill.
