And then, one day, her mentor sends her on a quest that would end up altering that future forever in unthinkable, unimaginable ways. She wakes up in the night, hearing the call of dragons in her head, and she can do naught but follow. And of the other side of things? Mistakes have been made along this path becoming this legendary thing. The bards sing of her deeds - and her misdeeds - and all eyes are on her now.

    Summary

    For every soul that dies, they are sent to two divine beings to be judged. The sinless souls go to the Canine god Cerberus, while the sinners go to the feline god Tiamat. Tiamat is angered that she has to torture souls who are already tainted, they offer her no nourishment should she eat them. Nor do they giver her much needed entertainment, Tiamat grew bored and starved after time. She consumed one of the first sinless souls who successfully beat the trials and grew another head that is another cat species. A feline that's the same species forms as a servant to her. She grins at her newfound power and begins to put the sinless souls she steals through trials for entertainment. Should they win, they are consumed after a period of time until the soul grows weary of life and another head grows on Tiamat.

    Mama Mat, as she's called by her children. Gives them the souls she steals from her brother, tasking them with their trials. These are the story's of some of the very few who managed to survive the trials and gain immortal life and godhood within their new worlds.

It was probably just something related to his injuries – who knew what kind of side effects would arise from being concussed by a giant lizard tail and knocked unconscious for an unknown period of time?

    It wasn't until that night when he climbed into bed and drowsily bade Toothless goodnight and received a strangely familiar and sleepy "g'night Hiccup" in response that he realized something was up.

    Then he just figured he'd officially gone crazy.

    Because honestly, what kind of sane person would be able to understand dragons talking?

     

    Or, Hiccup finally absorbs a dragon's soul. It's not really a big deal.

Visions of strange figures; a massive being with antlers and a group of people with eyes like wolves, one with the stormy blue-gray eyes of a Nord from her past which then shifted into the black dragon’s cold blood-red gaze until it changed into man with a pair of eyes the color of dragon fire concealed by an odd golden mask. Finally he too had morph into a being with alabaster skin and glowing blood-red cat-like eyes. She jolted upright from the hellish nightmare, panting close to hyperventilating, her body drenched in cold sweat as she tried to calm her now racing heart which was hammering painfully in her chest. Was this really a dream or was it a vision of the future?
