The tree he intended to cut stood in front of him, and he did not dare to look back at his old friend.
“What are you doing here, I don’t think that you were invited.” He hissed, finally turning with a storm brewing in his greyish eyes. Tubbo stared back, eyes solemn and melancholic, and Tommy hated it.

“Pfft, no you couldn’t, I’m a big man Dream! You can’t kill me, it’s–” Suddenly Dream has Tommy in a headlock, his armored forearm pressing forcefully onto his windpipe.
Shit. Tommy struggles against the hold for a few moments before realizing the masked man’s grip is relentless, he slows his efforts.
“I don’t want to do this Tommy.” Dream’s speaks with a warning lilt.
“Then don’t” Tommy chokes out.
Yet another sigh from Dream before Tommy is abruptly dropped to the wet ground. He hears the metallic shriek of an ax being unsheathed and his breath catches.

Basically the exile arc but with lots of added angst, and maybe some canon divergence, who knows? Read to find out!
