As humanity wilts and Azur Lane crumbles, Pacific South is one the last active bases left to combat the Siren onslaught. Composed of mostly Ironblood and Royal Navy forces, and cast adrift of the rest of the world, the fleet finds itself in desperate need of cooperation to survive. A difficult prospect to realise in the face of the political conflict within Azur Lane and bitter old wounds spurring internal warfare between the fleet and its factions. And that's before some of the more guarded and devastating secrets from the depths of the base come to light.

She sucked in a deep breath, half-expecting it to burn her throat down into ruined lungs. When it didn’t, she blinked rapidly, pushing herself up to a sitting position. That didn’t hurt either, and she immediately pressed her hands to her chest, running them down over her stomach. She was whole. That didn’t seem right, but she couldn’t remember why.
“What,” she tried, but the words came out a rasping growl, like she’d never spoken before. She frowned, swallowed hard, and tried again. “What is this place? Why am I—”
“You’re dead, cub,” the voice said, and she turned blurry eyes on its owner.
