The lion stopped in front of Lance.

Altea City is in danger. An evil organization, the Galra, is threatening to take over. A secret group called the Blades of Marmora is working hard to defend the city, but it’s not enough.
Enter Voltron.
Allura has always been regaled by tales of knights, noble warriors who fought to defend and protect.
So even when her city is being corrupted, and her father, Altea’s governor, mysteriously disappears, she refuses to believe that chivalry is dead.
Allura decides to form her own group of modern-day knights- superheroes
With the help of five mystical lions, saving Altea doesn’t seem so impossible.
She just has to find her heroes.

Sincline was running again, this time in desperation, towards the command center. He barely heard a couple voices call out to him as he pushed past groups of Galra, soldiers and civilians, demanding to know what was going on. ‘He can’t do this!’ he thought frantically, ‘He can’t…’
“Rise up and join your Emperor,”
He could feel the tension air of the ship – the Galra were very much a martial people, and their Emperor was calling them to arms – and Sincline knew they would answer. With blood.
“Revenge will be ours.”
He had finally reached the command center doors, barely pausing to slam his hand against the palm reader. ‘I have to stop him,’ he thought desperately, slipping through the doors before they fully opened, ‘Somehow…’

The energy in the air had gone from that of banter and a lack of seriousness to the exact opposite. Lance was an avid believer in ghosts, having had his own experiences in the past and overall reasons to believe in them. Keith was more of the skeptic, mainly because he’d seen plenty of videos faking supernatural events and disproving ouija boards specifically. Sure, he believed in cryptids and a handful of mythological creatures, but that was simply because they were physical beings that were easier to prove the existence or lack thereof.
