Merlin. Merthur. No explicit sex (thank goodness; it would have broken up the story). Arthur is captured by a mysterious nobody and has his lineage opened to him (gains the ability of auramancy). Now that he has magic, everything is different, and their future changes. An excellent, beautiful, perfect use of storyline AU after the first season. Definingly brilliant.
