Fit Bloke yanks the books from his hands harshly, unbalancing Merlin, making him have to stop himself from face planting by bracing a hand on the floor. Giving him a disgusted look, Fit Bloke sneers, “Get up, you look ridiculous,” before briskly walking away in the opposite direction, his leg connecting with Merlin’s shoulder and knocking him over again.

"No, sire, not to my knowledge.". Arthur visibly relaxed, crossing yet another line off.
"Question four: is he an agent sent by another kingdom?"
"This is Merlin we're talking about!"
"It was a long shot. Besides, any kingdom that chose Merlin as an operative probably isn't much of a threat." Arthur agreed. "Anyways, Question five: Does he happen to be wanted for murder, or generally at large for anything?"
"No!!"
Arthur sighed, crossing off the last two things on his list before storing away the little notepad. "Thank you, Gauis. I will be going now."
Gauis didn't think he had ever had a stranger conversation with Arthur, and that was saying something considering he was the one who gave him the puberty talk.
