Alors que Derek essaye de se préparer à un long voyage en solo à travers le désert pour effectuer un "déplacement professionnel", il se retrouve malgré lui à embarquer sur la route un garçon nommé Stiles, un jeune de 18 ans avec seulement une guitare sur le dos et trois caleçons dans son sac. Ever since he and Kazutoshi had become close, he’d make sure to memorize both of their schedules, something that proved to be very good for days when Kazutoshi’s lectures were much later in the day than his so he could let the other sleep in, as was the case today.
He’d done his normal morning routine of getting ready before checking back into their bedroom to press small kisses on Kazutoshi’s forehead before heading out, smiling when the other almost stirred from his sleep for a few seconds.

Richie shot him a sharp glance, his jaw clenched. "What the fuck do you mean, Eddie?" Richie’s voice was sharp now, the usual humour stripped away.
Eddie flinched, the words hitting harder than Richie probably intended. He had to swallow down the sudden lump in his throat. He wasn’t angry at Richie: he was just... scared. Scared that if he didn’t push through this, Richie would drift further and further away.
