Hyrule got injured and didn’t realise. It all fell apart when he finally does. Twilight has no idea what is happening. He has no idea how to help. Wild does.
For Twilight, somehow that just makes it worse.Twilight desperately wants to move closer, to hold them both how his instincts are screaming, but he can’t. Hyrule is already on edge, already one wrong move from fleeing, and they can’t afford that. Not with a wound that he’s no magic, that they’ve no potions, to fix. If Hyrule ran, Wild would follow. It would be near-impossible to find them. Approaching them is the wrong move… yet it still feels so terrible to stay away.

No - that couldn't be it - he sounded a bit surprised. No one is surprised if a portal they were trying to summon actually works. Unless they aren't very good at summoning portals…

Summary
Warriors loved to talk about his roommate. The chain had heard many stories about him, the mysterious, annoying guy who had fought with Warriors in the War of Ages before starting to live with him. They hadn't gotten the chance to meet him yet, but they were all looking forward to it. Even Legend, who Warriors was pretty sure wouldn't like him immediately.
Legend's husband has been missing for seven months now. He'd been on this quest for three of them, but each time he went home, Fable had nothing for him but a sad shake of her head. Ravio wasn't a fighter, and Legend wasn't an optimist. He actually would like the chain to meet Ravio, but couldn't bring himself to mention him when there was still no trace of him.
These two facts are in no way related.

Sky turned around, half expecting to find a monster behind him, but he couldn’t make anything out in the darkness and rain. Maybe there was something Time could see that he couldn’t?
“Everyone!” Time shouted behind him, not taking his eyes off Sky. Sky blinked at him in nervous confusion, opening his mouth but then closing it. It was good Time was getting everybody else, right? They could help.
The trees behind him rustled. He startled, turning to see the rest of the group stepping into the small clearing, swords and shields reflecting off of their respective light sources. They surrounded Sky, and he was struck by the strange feeling that all of their cautious glares were directed his way.
...Did they not recognize him?-
Or,
Sky has an unfortunate experience with a lightning storm and undergoes some... changes. Everything goes downhill from there.
