Summary
Arthur has left his career in the Camelot Military behind. Thanks to the skills he learned there, and a great deal of help from business partner Merlin, they've managed to assemble a team of haulers that are the best in the Void.
The problem? Being a freelance contractor isn't any easier in the future, and their business is barely hanging on.
The solution? Win the 201st Regatta and earn enough credits to finance repairs and upgrades for the ship that will finally make them equal to the luckier haulers.
Only, winning the regatta isn't as easy as it sounds. Especially when there seems to be someone determined to knock them out of the running. Now Arthur and his crew must use all their wits and ingenuity to make it out of the Regatta alive.

Along their journey, they meet a young man called Merlin who quickly takes Arthur's attention. As Arthur battles with his inappropriate feelings for a certain sorcerer, Merlin travels with them to meet with Claudas.
What happens when they meet? What happens when Claudas demands a price that Arthur cannot refuse? And what has this all to do with Emrys?Series

Summary
“No, stop!” Jack heard one of them yell. It took a second or two to catch onto the fact that it had been himself. That he had at once taken and thrown the stake towards the wall where the old lamp shone still its gastly blueish flame. And as he stood protectively at the front of the one open coffin everything within the crypt abruptly seemed to freeze.
He shouldn't be standing here, he realized, staring forward as if struck at both his friends and mentor. It should be Arthur, the wonderful man who she saw fit to marry. It should be Quincey, whose clever cunning and heftier temperament they'd grown to admire. Or perhaps even his old Professor, in another life, defending the fact that every existent illness must somewhere hide its cure.
Truthfully, if someone was going to stand here today and say ‘no’ to Abraham van Helsing, nobody present would've guessed it might be Jack.

Summary
“Merlin, what is in your hair?” Gaius asks - rather judgmentally, Merlin thinks. It’s not as though Gaius can turn into a bird, making his opinion irrelevant. Everyone’s opinions shall now be irrelevant to him unless they can turn into birds, he decides. He puts a hand to his hair and feels a leaf.
(So this is a very canon-inaccurate sort of re-telling, with some big divergences, minus a dragon or prophecy or two)

Summary
Merlin's life in Eadlor is quiet. He keeps his head down, or tries to anyway, and spends his day working the land with his mother and Will. Then a peace treaty between Camelot and Essetir brings Ealdor into Camelot's borders. With it comes not only a flock of Camelot knights, but Prince Arthur himself; a man who was magically altered to give him special abilities to track and kill sorcerers.
Arthur's duties in Ealdor consist of chasing off bandits, providing aid to the people, and making sure Ealdor follows the law of Camelot. Through a twist of fate, Merlin ends up as Arthur's scribe, and as they work together, Arthur comes ever closer to discovering Merlin's secret. Perhaps the worst part is that Merlin can't bring himself to hate Arthur as much as he should hate someone designed to kill him and his kin.
He thinks if things had been different, he and Arthur might have been good friends.

Summary
"Arthur!" Merlin's smile was sad, but his ocean eyes were bright and excited in the dimmed room. He did not seem to be surprised by the King's presence. "Arthur, look at this!"
The golden haired man bit back a rude rebuttal when he saw the younger man was holding out his palms. Arthur watched, mesmerized as his friend's blue eyes burned liquid golden and foreign guttural words escaped his lips.
"þára eorðbergena"
When the dark haired man opened his cupped palms, Arthur’s smile dropped into a confused frown.
“Strawberries?”
When Arthur visited Merlin who had locked himself up in his Workshop for three days in a self imposed isolation, he did not expect to be greeted by a sea of crimson flowers. When he wandered in further, these flowers were intertwined with raspberries. Merlin on the other hand had conjured strawberries, and a bittersweet smile.

Summary
“Father, King Bayard is staying with us for a week. No matter how slow acting the poison is, I imagine some effect would show by then. Or it would otherwise be connected to him eventually.” Neither of them seem to be calming down in the face of this logical reasoning, so Arthur will probably just have to spell it out. “That means that the cup being poisoned would result in him living in our dungeons, or being executed. Bayard would get nothing out of it.”
Basically someone should’ve pointed out the flawed reasoning behind the idea that King Bayard would’ve wanted to poison the cup in the first place. And then discredit the absurd notion that Merlin told them about it in order to disrupt negotiations.
This time around Arthur corrects the assumptions.
