Originating from a kinkmeme prompt, this AU describes a Cybertron where nomad tribes roam the deserts and city-mechs live in fear of them in walled cities. The nomadic tribes live very differently from the city-mechs, there is no contact between them only fighting. The nomads practice a tradition of kidnapping mechs to be their brides, like Megatron, who finds Orion Pax to his liking during a raid... and thus the War Bride universe starts.

After being forced to watch his trine mates suffer at Megatron’s cruel servos, Starscream knows that something must change. He collects his trine’s broken bodies and flees without hesitation.
Now holding his trine mates’ very lives in his servos, Starscream must decide what his next course of action will be. To return to what must surely be their deaths, or into the enemies waiting arms?

Vos is a powerful and secretive city, rich in ore, culture, and military might. Depended on for their power by the Prime and Lord High Protector, their ancient religious practices have been allowed to form into their own sect uncontested.
In the city of spires, a Seeker in their prime is kept underground, without access to air and sky, to eventually go insane and in turn absorb all of Vos's bad fortunes and fears. Beautiful lives depend on the terrible suffering of one, and a blind optic is turned to their fate.
A "volunteer," they say.
The current flightless one has not lost his mind, frame suffering with neglect. He waits in illness, missing what was stolen from him and alight with vengeance, for something to change.
