Steve didn't think there was anything particularly special about himself. He was just your average guy who had been raised by his now dead grandparents instead of his absent parents. He couldn't remember anything before the fourth grade, but that was fine, most people didn't. He was normal.
The town he lived in, however, was a fucking spawning ground for evil. And of course that fucking Demogorgan had to knock his memories back into alignment.

The boy was panting hard and his clothes were torn on the sleeves. All the kids jumped up scared for the appearance, Steve put himself between them and Hargrove in a protective way.
“Out there ! …..There are……There are…… Monsters ! Real Monsters !” Billy was shouting and taking big breaths between the words.

What if in season 2 the upside down gate didn't close ? What if it spreaded out and the kids and everybody else was put in an apocalyptic world ? How would they survive ? Can they make it safe and sound ?

Peter opened his eyes and colored splotches fritzed in and out of his vision as he registered the surrounding darkness. Stone leached at his warmth through the thin cloth covering his skin and he twisted sluggishly, trying to sit upright even with the ties forcing his arms behind his back and joining his ankles together.
Or, Peter wakes tied up in a closet with no memory of how he got there.
