Summary
if i fall,
on that day,
i only pray
don't fall away from me.What if there was much more to Aziraphale and Crowley's history than Crowley remembers?
What if there had been an "our side" even before the Fall?
What if Aziraphale's guilt was the only thing keeping them apart for the last six thousand years?
And what if the only thing that could pull them back together again was the firm belief of a plucky little angel-turned-human-bookseller that love really does conquer all?
Don't Fall Away From Me is a post Season-2 Good Omens fic that rotates perspectives between Muriel, Crowley and Aziraphale.

Summary
When an exorcism goes horribly wrong (as they so often do), Johanna Constantine really does not expect the corpse to laugh at her morbid jokes and get to its feet again afterwards. Hob Gadling, in turn, does not expect that his new friendship with a feisty exorcist and magician will lead to him not only learning the name of his Stranger, but to them running into each other in Johanna's ex-girlfriend's flat. Nor does he expect how changed he will find Dream to be after his long absence...

Summary
When his dear stranger returns after over a hundred years, Hob assumes they will return to their regular routine. Instead, the visits become frequent, more casual, and slowly his friend he now knows is Dream of the Endless opens up to him. He tasks Hob Gadling with an impossible mission: teach Morpheus what it is to be human, how to grow and heal as a human, or else the cracks in The Dreaming may never fully close.
But humanity is complicated. Healing is nonlinear, with many wounds and little sutures, and to grow sometimes means derooting the past. As their connection grows from something centurial and casual to a reccurring pull towards one another, bordering on love, Hob helps Morpheus expose the horrific underbelly of his biggest mistakes and most painful betrayals, happiest days and darkest nights, in order to allow himself the room for something new to blossom in place of the pain.

Summary
Contrary to the popular belief in all the realms, especially the realm of AO3 on Earth, Morpheus and Hob can be very sensible about their relationship. Or at least about the fact that they should be in a relationship :D
***
They dance in the darkened living room, among empty glasses, pizza boxes and sushi boxes, and leftovers of healthier food choices intended for the more sensible creatures among them. Morpheus closes his eyes and after the initial clumsy minute, he manages to follow Hob's cues smoothly. It's not difficult, he is very much attuned to Hob by now, the song is not fast and it is mostly just a gentle swaying.
...
He rests his chin on Hob's shoulder and lets himself be held close. It doesn't feel like a mere absence of memory, it's like something he has never truly done. He surrenders all control. There are no decisions to be made, no responsibilities, no crushing loneliness... only slow movement and spinning around, warmth spreading throughout his body all the way to his toes and fingertips, and Hob's palm sliding from his waist a bit lower.
Why would any sensible creature not want to dance?Bookmarked by BlueStar86

Summary
The rumor that Hob Gadling, the human who tricked Death herself into granting him immortality, has finally decided he's lived long enough and consented to die is sweeping through the supernatural community like wildfire. It even spreads to the Dreaming, where Dream handles it about as well as could be expected.
It is, to say the least, a bit of a shock to Hob Gadling himself, who is still very much alive- and increasingly in need of rescue.

Summary
In 1689, Hob Gadling and Dream meet once more, after Hob has lost everything. That night, their meeting goes on longer than expected when the conversation turns to what it means to live, to lose, and to be the fathers of dead sons. Unable to bear the thought of sending a man who so echoes Dream's own grief back into the night alone, Dream breaks his own rule and invites Hob to stay with him for a time, at least until he can get back on his feet.
The story of two grief-stricken, divorced, and widowed fathers to sons they lost too young truly seeing one another and there, at their lowest point, doing their best to put themselves and each other back together.

Summary
The year: 2022. Hob Gadling faces a lecture hall of students and feels the world change. In another realm, Dream of the Endless makes a deal to save his sibling. For one year, another will hold Dream's memories outside of himself. At the conclusion of this year, both Delirium and Dream's memories will be returned.
Until then, Hob arrives home to find an unconscious Endless in his bed, who remembers nothing of their meetings over the years, or indeed, anything at all. Hob cannot tell Dream anything, because Dream has rarely revealed any part of himself to his human friend. All they have are 6 meetings and a raven to get them through.
At the end of their year together, almost everything has changed.

Summary
It was a regular Saturday when Hob Gadling realized he was in love with Dream of the Endless. Contrary to popular belief, this was not good news.
How could he be so stupid?! He had barely got him to be his friend! Why did Hob have to turn around and be selfish and fall in love? Oh, this was bad. How was he supposed to look Dream in the eye next Saturday? Mainly, how was he supposed to not look at his lips and not think about how much he wanted to kiss him senseless and—oh no! Hob smacked his forehead and groaned.
(In which Dream is oblivious, Hob is catastrophizing, Desire is dragged along for the ride, and Death is the concerned fourth party)
