Five years after the Gala Massacre, humanity is on the brink of extinction (on Earth). The Solver Army has ripped through Terran civilization, conquering ninety percent of the planet.
Out the remaining resistance groups, Camp Alpha Foxtrot Whiskey is one the strongest companies.In particular, 1st Lt. Grace "Cat" McHall is their Ace in the Hole, being the first soldier to kill a Disassembly Drone after the discovery of its weakness to heat. A potential threat to the Solver Army, along with her second in command Jack Mitchell (Widow) de Rye and the rest of her Raptor squadron.

That's what it promised her back then, holding its word true. What Tessa didn't expect nor want was to slowly to be turned into a drone, eating away at her humanity and making her a marionette.
