Summary
These two were my brainrot characters, both together and separately. This book is oneshots centering on Purple, King, or both; and currently contains scene rewrites/character analyses/songfics (I tend to combine such things), and the occasional displaced-AU-become-oneshot. The general ones connect if you squint.
Thank you so so so much to those of you who are writing these two with a healing relationship, you've helped me out more than you know.

Summary
This is exactly what it says on the title. I write stories, and I ramble in the notes/tags. This book contains the stories I don't expect to fit in other stuff, but honestly half of them could anyway. Oneshots related to Mango and/or Purple will be in another book, because most of them connect to each other if you squint hard enough.
(Chapter 1 is general headcanons on the world as a whole. The rest are stories. I cut the ones that weren't.)
I do not write NSFW, with the exception of graphic violence.
I also don't ship often, and most can be read as platonic. (...The blatant exception is victim/mitsi, which is all but canon anyway, and will almost never read as platonic. I still don't write NSFW; it makes me wildly uncomfortable.)I sometimes consider prompts. I don't take official requests. (I used to, but it's too hard.)

Hit me up if you're looking for character songs, I can absolutely give recs.This is a timeline-fusion fic that I started in January of 2022- halfway through AvM s3, and about a year & a half(?) before the Rocket arc began. It was canon divergent, and something of a theory fic for the offscreen moments and/or side characters; but built to accept a little bit of retcon once respective backstories were dropped. Most of said retcon went to changing names, and adding Gold, whose existence threw me off for a long while bc I wasn't sure if he & Purple ever met. Gl!tches and Sunset both spun out of it. One of those is going to be canon again. I'll let you know which, when we get there. :).
Victim seems like a thematically appropriate time to release as much of this as I can, but I'm not even going to try to incorporate canon!Rocket, for reasons that become very obvious VERY quickly.

Summary
It's getting harder and harder for Yellow to ignore the fact that Alan's expressions don't fit with the way she thought he felt.
She's catalogued that twist of the lips as holding back a grimace, not a smile. She's labeled that glint in his eyes as irritation, not fondness. She's linked the way he drums his fingers on the desk to impatience, not an idle movement.
When Green and Blue blow a hole in the taskbar, he's not trying to not smile, he's trying to not yell. When Red spawns animals all over the PC, he's not looking at him fondly, but with annoyance. When Orange encourages him to take on more and more of the work animating, he's waiting for something.
Orange's deal with Alan goes like this: if they help him animate, he won't delete them. But what if Alan never grew fond of the sticks living on his computer? What happens when Alan comes into his own as an animator, enough to not need Orange's help anymore? Yellow, and the others, find out.
