“He has so many imaginary friends— we all thought he was making you up—” Shota’s dad rushes to explain. He’s blushing furiously. “Chan said he’s never seen anyone—”
“Well,” Jeonghan laughs. He’s been waiting for this moment. “Usually Chan is too busy flirting with some guy on the playground to notice.”
Shota’s dad makes a little noise, almost defeated. His face scrunches up, and for the first time he looks just like Shota. Jeonghan’s chest hurts a little bit.
“Okay. This has been really insightful,” he says. He waves a hand in the air, eyes failing to meet Jeonghan’s. “I’m going to have to talk with him about that— uh— I’m sorry, you’ve been, like, babysitting my kid three times a week, apparently.”

"You're immortal now, Mingyu," he exhaled, still rooted from where he was seated on the table, frozen as Mingyu's expression melted from anger to pure confusion and then to something akin to aghast. "You can't die anymore. That's what happens after a vampire- hold on, when you said you're a vampire expert, what exactly did you mean by that?"
"It means I watched Twilight religiously when I was a teenager," Mingyu seethed, paling as he ran a hand through his hair, muttering about how he should've been dead right then, how he shouldn't have handled the bite like a pro because he was nothing but a frail little human; he was a fucking idiot, but Seungkwan couldn't bring himself to berate the other man when he kept saying he wanted to die.
In need of sustenance, Seungkwan, a vampire gives in and takes up a human's offer. Biting on Mingyu’s neck to feed on his blood, he had granted him immortality in the process, unaware that the other man went to him to die, not to live forever.

And the ending? Bittersweet to the max, and without spoilers it is probably one of the best written endings ive seen in a while!
Shit happens in this, but oh my god its written so BEAUTIFUL. You'll be screaming at your computer/laptop/whatever you're reading it on because its just so m u c h in the best way.
Read this and cry not for what Jeonghan goes through, but for how everything ends.
