He was a harbinger of death, not to be touched, and yet a pale hand closed around his own and shook it firmly where he stood at the tall door to the Mayor of Oakhurst’s office, a welcoming gesture he hadn’t experienced since the disease took hold over a decade ago.
“Come on in, friend,” the man said, holding the door open to allow Owen to pass. Owen’s whole arm felt like it had been flooded with warmth, and it took him a second to realise that the kind words had been meant for him.

Jimmys arc is beautiful in accepting this and the greater plot of the games being a defiance of death, a purgatory, is such an incredible thought I'm genuinely so obsessed <3

He started scanning the room, looking for any sort of explanation. The room was clearly not from anywhere in the SMP; it was too clean, too friendly. Not to mention, the various framed photographs around the room: a handful of photos of the Dream Team, some pictures documenting Sapnap throughout his childhood, one large image of a maybe 15-year-old Sapnap between a happy-looking Bad and Skeppy. Everyone was happy and smiling.
Sapnap looked down at himself. There was a scar on his hand, one that looked identical to a particularly nasty dog bite he'd gotten as a kid, but the arrow-wound on his left wrist was gone, and there were no healed-over blade scars either.
This wasn't his world, and this wasn't his body.Or, Karl Jacobs is one of the few people "blessed" with the ability to jump through time and space, even into alternate dimensions!
