He couldn't believe he was about to follow a ghost bird to God-knows-where in Stark Tower—and that's assuming the bird didn't get him caught and dragged out by security, walk through a wall and lose him, or fly right out the front doors and into Bucky's death by oncoming traffic.
For Bucky to keep the government from discovering he'd become a Sentinel—and ruining his life accordingly—he could not afford to get caught trespassing in Stark Tower.
He did it anyway.

Nico leaned over, craning his neck to better peer at the hot sauce that still stained Gabe’s face despite the years of statue-ification. “Um, we could see if your dad wants to turn him into a fish or something?”
Percy grimaced. If Gabe Ugliano was a fish, then he’d be forced to hear the man’s voice in his head for years to come. But also, he could maybe mount him on a wall, so perhaps it wasn’t an entirely terrible idea.

Medusa’s sculptures are mysteriously coming back to life. Percy doesn’t think murder is an unreasonable action given the circumstances.

Hangman hopped out of the plane and walked passed her. He didn’t even say a word to her. Coyote, along with Harvard and Yale, was making his way to the planes, and Hangman clapped him on the back as they passed each other on the tarmac. It was like it was a typical Monday, like he hadn’t just gotten her and Bob killed.
