“Oh, my dear… you’ve gotten yourself into quite a jam, haven’t you?” With a small snicker, it made sure that he knew it was there. It expected his head to snap up, perhaps quickly followed by a light flush, showing his embarrassment about being found in such a state.
Battat gave no indication that he had heard it. Instead, he stared ahead with half-lidded eyes, his breaths reduced to short, shallow gasps. His body jerked and he whimpered again at the involuntary movement.
Its gaze flickered down to the prop (which, on closer inspection, was just a steel pipe painted red). It quickly saw the issue.
It went straight through him.
To celebrate Valentine's Day, FRIEND plans a surprise for Battat. When it shows up, it gets one of its own.

‘I said get up!’ Mizi says, more forcefully, pulling at Luka’s arm. She doesn’t feel bad when he flinches back and burns his hand on a piece of red hot, broken stage equipment.
‘You know, if you just sit there then you’re going to burn to death and the Segyein will take Hyuna’s body from you and do whatever they want with it. What a waste.’
Mizi knows it’s a cruel thing to say but it seems to work, Luka panics, inhales coming quicker, he winds Hyuna’s arms around his shoulders like a hug and tries to stand up, knees buckling, only succeeding in saturating his ridiculous, sparkly outfit in even more blood.
Mizi wants to leave him there, let him wallow in grief and choke on smoke so he knows how he made her feel when he didn’t play fair. But Hyuna’s body is on the ground and Hyuna saved Mizi from all of that, so, Mizi supposes, she owes her this much.
Or: Mizi has a change of heart and decides to bring Luka back to the rebellion with her instead of leaving him with Heperu.
