It was really quite inconsiderate of it, to only appear after the war was over. Draco had thought he was free to trudge about the Manor in gloomy isolation, feeding the thestral herd and staring glumly at yet another cucumber-and-cheese sandwich. Even the portraits had fled.
Now, though, with a portent of doom skulking at his heels, Draco has found that perhaps a deadline was just the thing he needed to feel alive again.

Potter raised his eyebrows. Draco preened internally — Potter was making the sort of expression where if he could raise just one brow, he would have, but he couldn’t, because that talent was uniquely Draco’s.

Through endless toil, temper-tantrums, and spilt cups of coffee, Draco has found a remedy far older than anything the Healers have proposed: a Black Wedding. Only one unscrupulous orphan fits the ritual’s specifications, and Harry is elated to make himself as much of a nuisance in Draco’s life as possible.
