Summary
I'm very sorry about this. Because of my own fucked upness (combined with absolutely true headcanons), I get very discomfortable and grossed out whenever someone draws or writes porn in which Hornet is sexually submissive, especially subbing to Lace. I don't have anything against the ship on its own I just hate the way their dynamic is portrayed in porn.
Lace attempts to rape Hornet, but Hornet overpowers and brutally murders her.
Maybe I should have written this anonymously

Summary
Iapetos is the god of endurance, mortality and matyrdom, and creator and protector of humanity and the living skeletons.
A myth I wrote a while ago to be told in my fantasy (and possibly, in a different form, my alternate history) world(s) about the major god Iapetos, patron deity of endurance (Derived from the Titan of Mortality and father of Prometheus). I was interested in how blurry the boundaries were between Hellenism and Gnosticism were in the Roman orient, and so I have indiscriminately combined figures who were certainly entirely Pagan with those predominately Abrahamic or Zoroastrian and everything in between, to construct a vaguely fuctioning cosmography.

Summary
I am discontinuing this, not just because I stopped writing it and don't want to start again, but also because I frankly don't think I could actually compose this story in a reasonable way. Not to mention that if I managed to write Hornet and my self-insert into an actual sort of relationship, it would have a problematic age/maturity gap which I am unable and unwilling to justify. If you found this desperate for some Hornet x Reader fanfic, then I can point you towards A Spider's Tangled Web, which is rather dark but very well composed.
Somehow, through circumstances that you cannot control, a superhuman being named Hornet has shown up in your neighborhood, and for some reason, you are the only person she doesn't hide from.

The previous version of this story, the version which is worse, hornier and finished, fucked me up beyond repair, and maybe in a different way than you think (I liked it). Anyway, the story is, despite its flaws, genuinely good, and it is written exquisitely.
