Akira wasn’t quite sure what had overtaken him. He wanted the answer he already knew. Slouched over his phone, the meta-nav open, awaiting keywords, his voice couldn’t choke out the words.
Sure, it made total sense for him to have one. His whole worldview was distorted, not just his desires. He should frankly be more surprised if he didn’t have one. But this was a different case.
Goro Akechi had a persona. Akira had witnessed Robin Hood manifest before his own eyes. That much was absolutely undeniable. And yet, he found himself still, desperate to be told an impossible truth.

After losing to the Phantom Thieves in the seventh Palace, Black Mask ends up on murder-suicide watch with a very heavy conscience and people holding not-unjustified grudges. It also turned out a change of heart wasn't enough to stop the bad guys this time, but BM's more than willing to help the Thieves tip the scales, even (especially?) if it kills him.Haru's handling it relatively well, Futaba's more social than expected, Joker doesn't quite grasp the concept of the fourth wall, and none of those three should be allowed within 20 meters of an actual handgun.

From as far back as Azula could remember, Zuko had been there. He was there for her first word, her first steps, her first everything. When Mother had taught her the meaning of a ‘parent’, she had thought that Zuko held that title for her. Azula had thought that Zuko was her father. It made sense! He cared for her, kissed her scraped knees, and held her during scary thunderstorms. He would smile at her with that crooked smile that was slightly too high on his right side, causing his eye to crinkle at the edge.
But Zuko was not her father.
