A WIP long fic exploring my headcanon of Eris, Full Metal Renegade Bitch.
Having defeated a second Reaper, this time on Rannoch, Eris had no trouble confronting the finger in her face steadily. “Your accusations are demonstrably false.”
With the tone of a man tired of his wife’s haughty attitude, particularly now, after Tali - and the entire Quarian races - avoidable deaths, he turned to Thane. “Feel free to jump in at any point whilst she lies.”
But he hummed distractedly in response and continued tapping onto his data pad.
She sighed wretchedly. “Is that what I’m doing?”
Throughout her absurd life, a dark wind rose from somewhere deep in the future, across years still to come, and they blew more fiercely than ever as she made decisions that would shape the Galaxy long beyond the Reaper's existence.
Hating trying to explain, she shut up and smoked her cigarette whilst Kaidan frowned at her, gazing back at him sadly across a gulf of lost years and misunderstandings.
When she comes home some five years later, she is so far removed from the woman she was that nobody quite knows what to do.

Summary
In the aftermath of Shepard's injuries on Vimire, Nihlus makes a series of decisions that land her right back where she started when they met: held in a Cerberus facility. The time taken to resurrect her is much shorter, owing to her alternative death during the Battle of the Citadel and immediate transfer to Lawson's skilled hands.
My favourite battle couple swing back into action playing triple agents, dragging Adrien Victus/other Turians, Aria T’Loak, Sole Survivor and The Hero of Elysium further into the events leading upto news of their return from the dead breaking.
Exploring a darker Shepard who isn't quite as tortured over her return and spends far more time with her creators than we get in game before the Collectors arrive. Follows on from Acta Non Verb in which Cerberus orchestrated Torfan, Azuke and Elysium in order to find a “Champion.”
Covering the time between 1-2.

Summary
Ruthless Shenko, lots of SMUT, filling out Eris’s history to appease the brain worms. Chaotic, developing relationship. Pre-ME1. I suck at summaries, so have a few snippets.
Every powerful, sculpted muscle of hers rippled as she moved. In front of him, up close, her unusual hair was all the shades of autumn leaves back home in Vancouver.
Something about her crawled inside, replicating like a virus, and it would not stop until it had hollowed him out.
He wasn’t sure what to expect from the most erratic woman he’d ever met, and he was startled as he glanced back.
She was all smoke and mirrors, always twisting his simple words into something else. Kaidan couldn’t keep up, but he wouldn’t back down.
Eris was always reckless, pushing herself to the limit, desperate to prove she was worthy of her post and more than just an Earthborn street rat, but this was ridiculous. He grabbed both of their helmets, making it clear she wasn’t space walking alone, and failed to see the irony as he muttered. “You are so goddamn stubborn.”
