It's been two years since the Battle of New York and life is going great for Harry. Loki lives with Him and Teddy full time. Harry is closer than ever to Loki.Besides the occasional missions for SHIELD Harry's life has become strangely normal. No prophecies or rampant gods to ruin his day. Harry has become happy with his new life and family. But of course something has to ruin it for him again.
One day Fury shows up on Harry's doorstep demanding his help. Apparently people don't like hero's having free will and some super soldier is Spangles old best friend. Tony and Spangles are fighting and splitting the team apart. Now Fury can't have his precious team fall apart now can he?

Summary
Harry is young. He is slowly entering adulthood and would like to change something in his life. It’s just… he still don’t have enough courage to confront his “monsters from under the bed.”
Severus is inevitably approaching forty. He lives by his old, well known routine and doesn’t like changes. And confronting anyone or anything is the last thing he fears. Well, unless it’s about his own feelings.
Harry is the son of James Potter and the apple of the Marauders’ eye. Severus, on the other hand, is their number one enemy. They find themselves on two sides of the same river, with everything separating them. But, as sometimes happens in life, one event is enough to turn the whole world on its head. Neither Harry nor Severus expects that the flashpoint of the biggest change for both of them will be the return of the Death Eaters and the unsolved case of a serial killer from almost twenty years ago.
