“With hockey. You’re serious?”

“Yuna,” Ilya’s voice was fucking trembling. “Is he okay? I need to talk to him. I need to know he is okay. Is he breathing?”
“Ilya, slow down,” Yuna was just trying to help, but it wasn’t enough. Ilya needed to speak to Shane, to hear his voice, to hear his own, unaided breathing for himself. “What’s the matter?”
“I just need him,” Ilya whimpered, creating a tight fist with his fingers. “I should have never let him go.”
