Summary
During their monthly poker night, Milo and Asher can’t help but tease David about his budding relationship with Angel. To shut up his friends, David denies that the relationship is as serious as they make it out to be. Much to his shock and dismay, Angel overhears every callous (and false) word David says. The whole ordeal makes David realize just how deeply he cares for Angel and just how close he was to losing them, in more ways than one.
Maybe David could be convinced that luck exists, after all.

A Post-Inversion look at the wolfpack and their mates as they all heal, process, and move through their traumatic experiences. Still reeling from the Inversion, everyone, in one way or another, continues to struggle with the memories of what happened, the injuries that persist in the present, and the prospect of what might be in the future. In an attempt to capture some semblance of normality, David invites his friends over for dinner. When the night of the dinner finally arrives and everyone reunites, the wolfpack gratefully realizes that even with so much thrown out of whack, there’s one element of the Shaw Pack that never changed and never will change: They are there for each other.
Each chapter will feature one wolfpack member and mate, written from the POV of the respective mate, plus an epilogue featuring all eight characters written in a 3rd Person POV. Please note a more specific summary will accompany each chapter.
