Summary
Peter felt as he was turning to dust. He felt how his healing factor was trying to stop it. He felt tears pricking his eyes. He felt words he was saying, even though all he could hear was a frantic heartbeat with a low hum of electricity. He felt arms holding him close.
When he woke up in an unfamiliar empty apartment in the city, that was even louder than Hell’s Kitchen on the worst nights. His Peter Tingle screamed. Only because of that, he knew he didn’t die.
Some time after, he met a bright red-green-yellow bird and befriend a boy who loved to read. And then he came face to face with a dark and maybe a little terrifying bat themed vigilante. There was also an awesome acrobat with a blue bird on his chest. And a little stalker in a too light for cool nights clothes but with an expensive camera.

But the universe has never much cared what Jason wanted, and Slade and Dick aren't quite so content with his departure as Jason believes.

Summary
Jason is so tired. His second chance has been nothing but more pain and suffering, maybe even more than his first go at life. He’s a pit-fueled zombie, a crime lord, isolated from his family. He thought that when Bruce took him in, he’d be able to leave all that pain behind. That he’d be able to live a new life, a better life.
Then, he was dead.
And then, he wasn’t.
He never asked to be brought back to life. Ever since he ripped himself from his coffin, it’s been one disappointment after another. More pain. More trauma. Even his death couldn’t bring him peace. What if he could finally rest? Finally fix the mistake of his revival once and for all?
It’s not like anyone would miss him if he were gone.
Would anyone even cry for him?

Jason spirals after a series of bad nights on the job, including arguments with his family. Amid a depressive episode, Jason considers his life a mistake. He goes out as Red Hood, catches himself in a tricky situation (that might or might not have been intentional), and doesn’t fight it when he’s thrown into the harbor.
