Dream is still there, still a threat, still banishing his sword, but the threat of swords crumble in the threat of obsidian wings. And the threat of obsidian wings crumbles in the threat of another sword being unsheathed and a gait too heavy to be any of the people from L’Manburg that come from behind Tubbo.
“He is not the only one,” a voice rumbles from behind—deep, echoing, and terrifying. “He’s just the flashiest.”
Tubbo looks up and wishes he’s surprised to meet the eyes of the Blood God.
Or: The SMP has no idea exactly who Tommy and Wilbur’s family is.
So imagine their surprise when—after Wilbur enlists his family to come help finish the war between L’Manburg and the Greater Dream SMP—it’s not another scrappy nobody with a too loud mouth and too many dreams that shows up in the midst of war. No, instead, Wilbur and Tommy’s family happen to be Technoblade, the Blood God, and Philza fucking Minecraft.

he takes a deep breath, then looks over the summoning circle hes made, in the depths of an abandoned house he found.
candles give off a dim light, shining on the dark red liquid that’s sloshing around in the bowl tubbo is holding.
he tosses the bowl into the circle, watching the contents spill, and starts chanting, chanting until his voice is raw and scratchy.
just when he thinks it won’t work, that he’s done something wrong, something echoes through the house. he falters in his words, seeing the circle he messily drew out of cheap chalk start to glow.
then, someone- no, something comes out of it.

Summary
Tommy Innit moves in with a strange new foster family. The Watsons are... a little too nice, if you ask him. The other shoe has to drop at some point, and he won't let himself be caught off guard by it. Especially when a secret that he's been trying to hide for his entire life is on the line.
In the meantime, he and his best friends pick up an exhilarating new hobby in (illegally) fighting crime. They quickly find themselves being drawn into the world of heroes, vigilantes, and villains in more ways than they would have liked.

The Watsons aren't the most normal family, even just by appearances, but they try their hardest to do good for the city. Everybody needs a hero now and then, especially the stubborn foster kid that has recently moved into their home. It's a shame they can't even reveal their actual careers to him.

Alternate title: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Endless Abyss
He opened the book to a random page and saw a bestiary entry for a creature he had never even heard of. It was ugly and obviously demonic, and the entry was impressively comprehensive for information that was obviously secondhand, including speculations about how best to slay it as well as what parts might be edible or valuable. Later pages were similar, with entries for flora as well as fauna and a few entries that seemed to be about specific landmarks or special items and their location. A good twenty pages at the back were left blank. He went to the front and all that was written was ‘A Treatise on the Dangers of the Endless Abyss’.
Shen Qingqiu decides to be a bit more proactive about the Endless Abyss plot, and discovers that it's a bit easier to be honest when it's paper and ink. And that might just change... everything.

Well, it's not like there's anything wrong with listening to it. He has nothing to lose except for his life if he fails.
