Summary
(Sequel to Transcendent Suffering. http://archiveofourown.org/works/4961221/chapters/11392429 (This is not a standalone piece, so I highly recommend reading its first installment.))
Thumbs drifted after tears before Hannibal leaned in to kiss each quivering bead of light, maroon eyes staring at the frightened boy looking out from piercing gaze, voice a soft whisper against lips. “Tell me, Will… was all the boundless beauty of this fallen world etched in the runes of your bones and…” A quiver of pain wavered notes to low hum of quiet. “And…writ to shine through the light of your eyes from birth? Or have you merely allowed me the grace, the honor, and privilege to witness your radiance in the life we have shared? To let me love you all the same?”
They felt tremors beneath their tangled bodies rooted to the ground.
“God, please…” Will murmured, a fresh sting of tears welling eyes, lifting them upward and praying for the first time in his life to anything that would listen.
Take us. Take us both. Just don’t…please don't. Don’t take him from me.

Summary
A simple sponging down of the boot, first, to remove any large clumps of mud (or blood). Then, saddle soap and a spritz of water on a stiff brush, for a methodical cleaning of every crack and crease. As with all things in his life, Hannibal carried out his task with measured precision and the quiet confidence of a man who is a master at his craft. His various grips on Will’s leg were perhaps a shade firmer than necessary, but Will wouldn’t begrudge him that.

Summary
Will Graham has been working street corners since he was a teenager, struggling to make ends meet for his pimp Chilton who keeps piling more debt upon him by the day.
Hannibal Lecter owns a sizeable chunk of the city, several large and unsavoury businesses, and even he cannot deny there's something about Will that he can't quite place his finger on when he spots the younger male enter his BDSM club.
Even as a criminal mastermind, Hannibal can see that this line of work is killing the young prostitute, so he takes matters into his own hands.

I think I'm slowly getting there. However, I am DELIBERATELY not writing him very pretentious, because I want to write what's underneath - underneath all the person suits, all the learned polite behavior, all the polished exterior. What Will makes him feel.I don't know how much of the story from A blackish red hue I will cover here, but I will post (short) standalones here, depicting how Hannibal sees their time and life together.

Summary
A Murder Husbands story, heavy on character development and (hopefully) story, spiced with sex.
Not overly fluffy. Murder Husbands as in Murder Husbands. Murder Tableaus.Ongoing story, posted in thematically fitting multi-part installments. Finished now, but maybe will get some ... epilogues from time to time.
>> This kicked around in my brain until I sat down and let it out, triggered by the aweworthy microexpressions of HD and MM (especially) in TWOTL. Not an AU in the sense of the word but rather series continuation (at least until we get S4^^). Canon compliant and typical violence. You know what that means :).
