Summary
‘Hello, Daniel,’ Armand said, eyes glowing with undeniable warmth. How casual he seemed on the outside, the shaking of his pupils the single outward sign of distress. ‘That performance was very late seventies of you.’
A grin threatened to split Daniel’s face in two as he slid his his right hand next to where Armand’s was resting on the countertop. ‘Yeah? I felt particularly inspired by the era tonight.’
OR: Daniel and Armand find their way back to each other.

Summary
ISO: Carer to look after my father for 8 weeks this summer.
Dad is 71, early stage Parkinson’s disease, broke his hip 6 weeks ago. No signs of cognitive decline; mostly needs help with household tasks (cooking, light cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping), getting dressed, showering, changing cat litter/general cat care, getting to and from appointments.
Please know what you are getting into; Dad is physically more or less in good health but awful at accepting his limitations, unnecessarily mean, generally uncooperative, and largely nocturnal. Imagine yourself caring for a feral raccoon that is convinced it’s going to write another book, then subtract everything that is cute about raccoons.
$20/hour, roughly 4 hours a day. Must be able to pass a background check and lift 50 lbs. Patience of a saint not required but preferred.- Language:

Summary
Daniel sees life like a river. Thinks he is caught up in a current that only goes one way, that will eventually sweep him out to sea. It’s easier for him to think so. It keeps him alive to think so.
He doesn’t know that he could stand up and reach the bottom. He doesn’t know he has a choice.
Drugs don’t work, sex doesn’t work, New York hasn’t worked. Somewhere in the Appalachian Mountains, an improbable number of suicides have taken place. Somewhere in a bar in New York, Daniel hears about them. He wants to fill a void. The difference between what is real and what isn’t matters as little to him as the things he’ll find to throw into the darkness. Which, as it turns out, is quite a lot.

Summary
Daniel is sprawled out across the bed, loose-limbed and lazy, somehow filling all the open space it has to offer and leaving Armand to nestle into the gaps. His cheeks are flushed, blood pooling like it knows what comes next. Maybe it does. Armand was reading about classical conditioning the other day. About dogs who become accustomed to getting food when their handler rings a bell.
Perhaps Daniel is the dog, Armand’s teeth sharp bells reverberating in his veins. Or perhaps Armand is the dog, Daniel’s blood a song rattling in his ears. He has been a dog before. He runs his tongue along the bow of Daniel’s collarbone, gathers the salt-sweat there and imagines what it tastes like because Daniel does.
Armand remembers he loved Daniel, once, and that Daniel loved him. Or a version of them did, at least. It isn't his intention to go back to that, but it's not not his intention, either. Such is the prerogative of an immortal: to hold two contradicting desires simultaneously. If nothing else, it passes the time while he waits for this miserable interview to end.

Summary
"I know what a breakup looks like," Daniel says. "The better question is, why are you coming to me about it? I'm the one who broke up your little sham."
"This is what humans do, don't they?" Armand asks, letting his voice drop. "Crashing on their friends' couches when there's a blip in their romances?"
"Except we're not friends. We're actually very much not friends." Daniel shrugs, as if it's all the same to him. "And I can't imagine the great vampire Armand deigning himself to sleep on my fucked-up sofa. That thing's been here since the nineties."
"Well," Armand only says. "I saw you have a guest bedroom."

Summary
“Ana, you'd never believe what I saw walking down the street today, nearly pissed myself.” Crowley starts as he makes his way to the back of the dark store, where the till sits.
“Well, I’d be quite interested to hear.” Says someone who's decidedly not Anathema.
No, instead of Anathema, a man with the blondest hair, and stupidest bowtie- which was definitely not for a uniform, Anathema would burn the place down before trying to make anyone working for her wear a uniform- sat in her place. And when the man smiled at him with a nervous crease in his brows, Crowley thought he felt faint.
“You're not Anathema.” Is all Crowley manages to say.
Or: Crowley walks into a beauty supply store for hairdye, and walks out with a crush.

Summary
It’s not like Hannibal didn’t know that Will was hiding something. It was after the third body drop a week ago that it became clear that Will had a secret that somehow involved the case, one he wasn’t willing to share yet, not even with Hannibal.
At 6:43 AM, Will had texted Hannibal that a fourth body had been found and that he was on his way to the scene with Jack.
At 8:06 PM, Will had stepped into Hannibal’s office, thirty-six minutes past his appointment time, and practically shouted “I used to be a stripper!” as loudly as his hoarse voice would allow him to.
Hannibal Lecter, though not phased by much in life, has never been entirely able to predict Will Graham, but this is just… getting out of control.

After Izzy manages to make himself sick, he's unwillingly subjected to Stede Bonnet's particular brand of posh hospitality. And Stede, for his part, is determined to be liked.
Naturally, Izzy isn't going down without a fight.

Summary
“Tell me if anything is particularly sensitive.”
Will goes very still.
There’s a subtle, hair-fine moment when the human hindbrain remembers what it’s like to be prey. Hannibal has gotten good at recognizing it. But Will’s tension is a coiled thing, the imperceptible shift of muscles under skin, a push off the back foot.
He doesn’t react like prey. He reacts like a young predator before it remembers its finally grown teeth.
--
Will Graham bears the mark of a heretical god, a mark said to condemn the bearer to a life of madness. Dr. Hannibal Lecter knows otherwise. When Will shuts himself away from the world, Hannibal coaxes him toward a new understanding of himself. But in the end, who is he? And what is Hannibal?

Summary
Love is late nights spent ranting and raving about the future, a shared one, hopefully, cracking jokes high on lack of sleep. It is a hand on his back, on his shoulder, shielding his frail body or asking him not to get up, please, “don’t tire yourself”. Love is curious eyes following his every move, trying to determine what he will say next so another voice can finish his sentences for him. Love is something Viktor had never put much thought into until he’d seen its name written across multiple pages, impossible not to notice, more impossible yet to forget.

Summary
“I am uncertain why it is that you are all of the sudden so hesitant, Master," Nandor coaxed in a husky voice, deep and rasping in a way Guillermo had no defense against. The vampire’s eyes were dark and half-lidded, his fingertips skating up the length of his thigh. “You know I am forever at your disposal, and I was so far under the impression that you found my services quite enjoyable indeed,” he cocked his head to the side, sent a brief but meaningful glance downwards. “Perhaps, though, you are waiting for me to beg for the privilege of proving my devotion to you?”
About two months after Guillermo begins his mission to infiltrate a covert organization of Vampire Slayers, several of its members walk in on him meeting with-- and conspicuously not attempting to slay-- Nandor. Guillermo has only seconds to think of an explanation for this that won't completely blow his cover and get the both of them killed.
The one he settles on may end up raising more questions than it answers.

Summary
“Sometimes I think about opening your curtains,” Guillermo says, softly, “and waking you up at noon.”
He learned years ago that he can say anything he wants to unless Nandor is choosing to pay attention to him—and he typically isn’t. He can say things like I’m going to lock you in your coffin until you agree to turn me and I want you to do things to my body that I don’t even understand yet and I’ve never been in love before and it’s weird that it’s like this and Nandor won’t even flinch, won’t do more than say, “Hush with the muttering, Guillermo, I’m thinking about things that are far more important than you,” which has always felt like he took a page directly from what Guillermo assumes everyone thinks about him.
“. . .rude, Guillermo,” Nandor says, this time, turning to aim a sad look at him.

Every so often, the vampires remind Guillermo that they are not human—or too human, pushed to the edge by a greedy hunger deep in their souls. Like a pack of wild, starving dogs. Summary
'He believed that it was only with nature and his isolation from the rest of the world that he would be able to create something beautiful. It was after reading Walden that he had felt inspired to accept the post. He wondered if being in the Scottish highlands in order to look after a lighthouse would allow him to live deliberately and see the essential facts of life, and would perhaps learn what it meant to live. He hoped that he would be able to discover how sublime the world could be once more, he had only experienced the meanness of it over the years. '
Mycroft ends up taking an opportunity as a lighthouse keeper in Scotland to take comfort in the isolation to avoid his past. Greg has been running the local bakery for the last three years after a life in London.
