It started off like any other one-night stand. The standard eye-fucking some guy across the bar, followed by the usual sweet talk and heavy petting, all leading up to the two of them playing tonsil tennis on a broken toilet in the alley out back.
A pretty typical Friday night for Dabi, all things considered.
Until it led to probably some of the best sex in his life. Maybe even the best sex of his life.
And Dabi's a lot of things, but restrained isn't one of them, so he's definitely wanting to make this more than a one-time thing.

Across the room, it looked like Loki had fared no better during the night, his dark hair damp with sweat and long limbs starfished across his cot as he lay belly-down. He sighed when Thor sat up on the other bed.
“It’s just going to get worse, isn’t it?”

Summary
I don't have anywhere near as much Loki fic finished or posted as what I've actually planned or written, but it's practically all I'm talking about or writing right now, so I wanted to set this up because I'm anal and I like organizing things, and in case anyone's mostly interested in following that stuff specifically. (Not that I'm prolific enough to make anyone worry about getting notifications for loads of non-MCU fic anyway, if that's what you're here for.) So far, nearly all of these are standalone oneshots, not related except for character focus and general theme, and they're arranged more or less in descending chronological order.

A monster is stalking the corridors.
Hawks can hear it, a hoarse breathing behind the wall he presses his back against, stifling his own mouth and nose with both hands as not to give himself away. Dark spots swim before his eyes, barely discernible in the darkness of the cave.
It’s a labyrinth. A huge, endless mess of underground passages intersecting and forming branches, sharp turns and large rooms, slopes and rises, similar like twins and imperceptibly different.
Hawks is slowly losing his mind, seeking a way out. They told him there was a way and he would find it when he was ready.
They didn’t tell him he would be trapped with a monster. -

One thing about Hawks: he had to be caffeinated during work.
Up until now, Hawks had simply taken that fact about himself as gospel— he never slept quite enough for a man in his mid-twenties with an incredibly physically demanding job— but he hadn’t known how much of his energy he owed to his coffee and energy drink intake, because he’d never experienced a decaffeinated day of work.
The operative phrase here, of course, was up until now.Or: Hawks is sleep-deprived and has a big whoopsie on the clock.

Danny would have bet large sums that his people were Okies, migrants who'd fled the Dust Bowl with the banks at their heels, snapping up their homes and their land. There was something post-apocalyptic about Rusty's angle on the world. Besides, nobody who put that much work into being effortlessly cool could have come from anywhere but California.
