Summary
“Why do I always feel like every minute with you is an accident waiting to happen?” Steve asks rhetorically—because they both know it’s true. The only person even more accident-prone than Eddie is maybe Buckley, and Steve swears he loses at least five years of his life every time they’re all together.
Eddie’s pretty sure Steve enjoys rescuing him way too much to mean the annoyance.
Case in point: the gentle hand cupping the side of his face, and the amused twinkle in Steve’s smiling eyes that accompanies his words.
“No idea. But if I die choking on this beauty”—he palms Steve over his jeans—“know I died doing what I love.”
Without much further ado, Eddie finally gets Steve’s jeans open and shoves them down to just above his knees, freeing the prettiest dick the world—or at least Eddie—has ever seen.
Or, Steve and Eddie finally got their act together and are happily in love. This means that Eddie can have his wicked way with Steve whenever he wants. Even before one of Corroded Coffin's soundchecks.

Summary
There’s Eddie—his features as familiar to Steve as his own. He’s wearing skin-tight leather pants, combat boots, and a flowing white shirt that looks like it belongs in a Renaissance fair or a particularly flamboyant vampire movie.
But what makes Steve’s jaw actually drop is Eddie’s hair.
His wild, dark curls—softer now than they used to be, thanks to the haircare routine Steve introduced him to—are—
“You’re blonde!” Dustin blurts out, voice sharp with disbelief.
Eddie’s blonde.
Or: Corroded Coffin are shooting a music video (this is the 90s my friends) and Steve visits his boyfriend on set. When he finds out Eddie changed his hair to blonde for the shoot, his dick has a very strong reaction to it.

“There was a fire. At the mall. I worked there? At Scoops Ahoy.”
The way he says the last part sounds strange, like it’s really important somehow that Eddie believes him.
“Okay,” he says, then adds, “Is that why you look like that?”
Eddie’s never met a fire with fists, but he wants Steve to tell him what happened—not just assume.
There’s a beat of silence, like Steve’s weighing his options, and Eddie knows a lie’s coming before Steve even opens his mouth.
“Yeah. Building caved in. We made it out—Robin and I. Paramedics checked me over and said I couldn’t drive, so I decided to walk.”
Almost ten miles, Eddie estimates. Sure. Totally normal thing to do in the middle of the night, battered and bruised, after escaping a fire.
But he’s pretty sure that’s all he’s going to get, so he settles on, “Good thing I came along, then.”
“Yeah.”

Robin: You have a right to be upset. Misery is no competition. It sucks that you feel like you have no agency. Maybe there’s something you can do for yourself? Dye your hair black? Get a nipple piercing? That tattoo you were always talking about?
Steve: My dad would kill me if I dyed my hair black.
Robin: That’s not a no to the piercing or the tattoo. Come on, lover boy. Live a little. Be wild. Give your dad the middle finger where he can’t see it.
Or: The one where Steve is tired of living the life his parents want for him. His act of rebellion? Getting a tattoo.
When he meets Eddie, his tattoo artist, he gets so much more.

Summary
Because once a week, he had the house entirely to himself from nine am to eight at night while he had his usual day off at the library and Robin was in class all day (and Eddie was on tour). He didn’t need the run of it, of course, because Robin would actually kill him if she found out he was engaging in sex acts in the kitchen — but it was nice to know he could be, like, loud and shift if he needed to.
(That, actually, might have been the only other thing Robin judged him for, but, in his defense, he grew up alone in a big ass house — he never really had to learn to be quiet.)
So he took advantage of it, and put on some pretty clothes and imagined some guy railing him in them.
In which Steve has a fantasy. Couple of 'em, in fact.
