Okay, why are there no isekai long-run stories in this Fandom? Just borrow a page from Undertale, lmao, stick a normal brain into a Little Sister and let them jumble up into a vaguely sane person, then tell a survival story.
1) Waking up from the Little Sister surgery, having two/three sets of memories with it being OG girl, older isekai reader, and Little Sister instincts. Lots of fear and hunger, knowing you should be scared but not why.
2) Escape/Release from the facility, explore and scavenge, find a dead Little Sister who got squashed by rubble and steal her ADAM retriever. Mourn the girl you found, hover around the location because grief has you pinned. The hunger grows.
3) The hunger gets so bad that you have to leave, frame it like forsaking morals and emotional ties so you can survive. Find a group of dead angels near a dead Big Daddy Rosie, fight your instincts about All Of That. Siphon your first dose of ADAM, realize you're a vampire and must be undead.
4) Make a hideout near a dried up swimming pool; your sleeping place is a locker. You find amusement in this. Try to look for water, finally realize your city is under the sea. Find a dead angel and drag it back to the pool. You drain the body over a longer period so you don't need to leave the area. The body gets dumped in the swimming pool.
5) You try to look for angels, reasoning that you should be able to hunt them easily since they don't move. You find a group of Splicers instead and nearly die because of the cognitive dissonance of angels being dead Splicers but not being able to actually link the two in your head (ie killing a Splicer makes an angel). A Big Daddy comes to kill the Splicers and you run away.
6) You hide in your locker for a while and try to fight the dissonance. Your broken brain decides it's a good idea to stab yourself to prove that killing isn't a thing, you heal immediately and find the pain abhorrent but interesting. The Big Daddy comes to find you and you run again.
7) You try to game your brain and "play a joke" on a Splicer by dropping rubble on her. An angel appears right after and you drag the body to your new hideout, a very tall decorative fountain, long dry. You consider past experiences with human food and finding new clothes.
8) The same Big Daddy finds you again, looking very battered. You are terrified and hide in the tallest basin of the fountain. You have a dead angel with you so you try to outcast the monster, the Big Daddy just waits. It gets concerned because after a few days it assumes you haven't eaten and it leaves to get you an angel. You try to run but it comes back too quickly, dropping an angel at the foot of your fountain and backing up to wait some more.
9) You take a risk and grab the angel to siphon, but retreat to hide again. The Big Daddy repeats this cycle a few times before Splicers come to catch you, the Big Daddy defends you and you defend it back with another "joke", throwing ADAM as a distraction. The Splicers are all killed and you siphon them, too caught up in instinct to worry about the Big Daddy. The Big Daddy realizes that you aren't like the other girls because you're able to fight back and don't talk.
10) Done siphoning, you freeze at the Big Daddy behind you. You try to creep away but it follows you, stopping when you stop. You figure out that it's harmless but the part of you that's Little Sister that wants to instinctively bond to the monster is ruthlessly repressed. You decide that it following you is useful but you won't react beyond that. You move on to find a new base, settling in a movie theater. The Big Daddy, seeing you sleep and knowing your habits, decides it's safe to patrol.
11) PoV Big Daddy, it runs into another Big Daddy and Little Sister pair. The Little Sister says she's sorry that it doesn't have another Sister to protect, the Big Daddy protests (unhappy groans). She's confused and asks why they are separated, stating that the Big Daddy is confusing. Her Big Daddy ushers her away, which is an insult as it implies that it thinks the PoV character is more harm than help in keeping the girl safe (2 is better than 1, but not you). Big Daddy ponders your strangeness and returns to you, but it resolves that you're a Little Sister and must be protected regardless. It wants to love you.
12) You wake up and hunt for more Splicers to play jokes on, ignoring the easier to get but already partially drained angels. Your theater must have been home to another Little Sister at some point because the area is very picked over. The Big Daddy is confused and tries to pound the Splicer you find to pulp, you are annoyed that it's paste but siphon what little you can scrape up. You find more Splicers but it keeps happening, the Big Daddy is scared that you keep running towards the danger.
