PN-1 continues to mumble and whimper, pressing into Albert's touch as it's body convulses, either from the virus or the pain. The whole thing is rather cute. It was so, so loyal. Unwilling to hurt it's captain even as it loses full control of itself.
The stab of jealousy is unsurprising, and unwelcome.

Nowadays, Piers has many more good days than bad. Occasionally, however, he's forced to truly face how a virus continues to affect his body and his life. The worst reminder of that ended up landing him in the hospital for three full weeks. This is easily the second worst time: being exposed to a new viral strain that was, in part, a C-Virus cousin at best.
Chris fought for him to spend most of his recovery time at home, most likely aided by Leon's first-hand account of events. Piers doesn't know all the details. He does know that his body feels wrong in about five different ways, all the meds suck, food tastes bland, he can't sleep, and he can't even try to rest in his own bed — his and Chris's bed.
He also knows Chris can't sleep, either. Even when Leon is available to tag in to help.

Summary
Piers survived getting infected. He ended up getting a prosthetic arm obviously and major scaring on his ribs, right shoulder, and right side of his face. He went partially blind as well due to the infection affecting his eye sight. He somehow, by some miracle, would be allowed back into the field after several months of recovery.
He’d recover fine physically, sure he had to get used to being partially blind and also using the prosthetic arm but he was fine.. for the most part.

Summary
Following rumors of Albert Wesker's research falling into unknown hands, a BSAA team, led by Captain Chris Redfield, is drawn to the Bolivian town of San Jumayo to ensure the mad scientist's plans died with him. Meanwhile, tipped off by a reliable contact within the US government, Wesker's son, Jake Muller, arrives in San Jumayo a few days earlier than the BSAA's agents to learn more about his father and his unsavory birthright.
[A story I've concocted to mesh Res E 6 and Res E 7, because they sometimes feel like they exist in separate universes. This is also my first try at horror. If you could give me feedback on how better to write scary sequences, I'd be delighted.
