The war has been won. The winners sit around a campfire outside of an inn. They reminisce on their journey. As the night goes on, it's slowly becoming apparent that not everyone is going to be welcomed. Not everyone is loved. Not everyone has a home to go back to.
Even the most terrible things have silver linings. Even being forced to fight a terrifying entity with the ability to rip a face off of a Mii's body has a silver lining. For some, sad as it is, the perilous journey was safer than their day to day lives.
Since Clarissa was chosen by the divine spirit, she'd learned a few things. One of those things was her and her teammates would have learned some things about the world that no children should know.
