There were rumors of foul play on his end.
No one dared to speak them.
What they didn't know...
“You’re safe now, Zuzu. I took care of it.”
No other words were exchanged in the room that day.
Azula was eleven years old, and cleverer than anyone in the palace, with friends as protective, and as dangerous as her.
And Iroh had never seen eye to eye with his niece, but he at least understood this.
Zuko asked about his father only once.

Crown Imperial Prince Azulon II, who has infamously only been publicly seen on the battlefield, will finally debut in the Imperial Palace's public affairs.
He was heralded as the most prodigious Fire Bender in all recorded history. The most eligible alpha bachelor has yet to claim a mate and is rumoured to have not shared any of his ruts with an omega. He will soon celebrate 21 years of age and be officially named heir to the throne. Nobility and royalty from lands near and as far as across the seas have their daughters escorted to the Imperial Palace in hopes of garnering favour with the Imperial Prince and being part of the royal family.
But first, he must show his worth to Azulon I before he can be named heir. By establishing the Avatar as the Supreme Lord of all the Land.

“Don’t be stupid.” He says, letting out a puff of smoke from his mouth that climbed high into the sky as if Zuko was a dragon or a house fire.
“I can be very stupid, so you might need to be a little more specific.” Sokka quips, good-naturedly, reaches a hand in waiting for his turn with the cigarette, smiles up at the face that’s forever half-scowling but momentarily half-smiling at him, golden eyes indulgent and fond. “How should I go about not being stupid, Your Jerkiness?”
He takes one last, long drag and passes it to Sokka’s waiting hands, calloused fingers brushing against calloused fingers.
“Don’t settle for me.”(or the Modern AU in which Sokka flirts with a cute boy in a nowhere town during summer break and gets far more than he wagered for)
